Spiritual awakening"walking in the spirit"
I can hear the limbs from the trees brush up against the window as I now wake up at 3:00 a.m in the morning. There's no need to worry it's typical, well at least every since my spiritual awakening. Before God delivered me I often found myself wavering between the seen vs. unseen realms of life. Yes, I know you ask, what exactly does that mean? well let me explain. The world also known as the "flesh" in representation of the (seen) VS. Jesus the spirit in representation of the spiritual realms the (unseen). There's an reason why I said Vs. you see Jesus is pure, clean, Holy, rightoues, meek, and humble. The "flesh" in pertaining to the devils dormain wants nothing more but to kill, steal, and destroy. We as human beings seek out things of the world to fulfill our fleshly desires, but nomatter how much you try to please your flesh you will never be happy, fulfilled, open to love, or living life with an purpose without the spirit of God dwelling within in you! the Holy spirit doesn't dwell with the flesh. Although we live in the world we must not be of the world. Put to death the deeds of the body by the "spirit". Say "no" to the desires of the flesh. " Fore if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die. But if ye through the spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live." -Romans 8:13. So here's the key element* you must say "no" by the spirit! dont be discouraged it can be done with the help of God. In my own experience of walking in the spirit, whenever I feel threatened to fall into temptation I immediately pray or read my bible to renew my thought process. The more you read, the more you pray, the easier it becomes to resist anything not of the will of God. "For as many as led by the spirit of God, they are the sons of God"-Romans 8:14. The Holy Spirit will always lead us to the Holy word, just as was taught by prophets of the Holy spirit. That was alot to take in,just bear with me as I continue to be led by the the spirit to share my thoughts and matters of the heart.
It is now 4:30 a.m and not only are the limbs from the trees brushing up against the window, but I can now hear the drops of rain pouring hard against the ceiling, and the the fast pace wind echoing through the trees creating sounds similiar to the blowing of an whistle. I will now go a little deeper into my soul as I share the power behind prayer! Prayer changes things, dont believe me? just try it. Make sure you are sincere, withholding faith in God so that when you pray you can let it go and leave in Gods hands. The key element* to this is "praying in the spirit." I know, what does this mean? we'll let me explain: Sometimes people often pray in the flesh and not in the spirit. As I mentioned before God does not dwell in the flesh but only in the Spirit! God knows what we need before we pray. We must have faith and believe he will never leave us nor forsake us. Alot of times we pray for whats pleasing to our flesh and we forget to nuture our spiritual body in praying for whats good for our spiritual growth and development. An healthy prayer life is good for the soul. God will guide you in the right way to pray. " Likewise the spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: But the spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered". -Romans 8:26
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." -Romans 8:28
It is so good to know God sends the Holy spirit to join us and help guides us in prayer, The spirit searches the heart, and even when you dont know how to pray the "Holy spirit" is leading you on what to say! Amazing right? What a blessing!
I look over at the clock and it's now 5:00 a.m I can now feel my eyes getting a little heavy. The rain is starting to slow down, the wind has become more calm. All the limbs that once brushed against the window are now spread about the ground. I've been woke for 2 hours praying to God for salvation among my brothers and sisters in christ, Praying God sends his Holy spirit to reign over the world so we may be enlightened with his power, and filled with his Holy spirit! give us the strength we need to overcome our fleshly desires, give us the ability to love unconditionally for God is love. Let us remember to worship, teach, and pray through the spirt of God. The bible is an spiritual book, you wont be able to understand it without the Holy Spirit guiding you. The first step to being born again is "the renenwing of the mind" this is done through reading the word of God. " All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works" 2 Timothy 3:16-17
I probably should get some rest now, thank you for an listening ear! I pray to have touched you all through the spirit of the lord. One last thing, So now that we have been guided on this spiritual journey, lets not forget the most important part is to first believe that God is the lord and savior Jesus Christ who died on the cross for our sins. "For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son, that who so ever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life: -John 3:16. My brothers and sisters dont give up for its through our hard times we are made strong. we cant run this race without God! "wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.- Hebrews 12:1 Remember christian life is an race, it begins when we recieve Christ as our Lord and savior. Run the life of faith! Be humble, stay the course, never give up! never look back, Heaven is the destination! walk in the spirit and you will complete the purpose God has for your life. Amen🙏
