“ARANNNNN OVER HERE” I yelled. “Monique shut up,” Ash said while laughing. “Hey, guys” Aran said while walking up to our table. He and Indigo made eye contact but Indigo quickly broke it. Then we all just sat there in awkward silence. I decided to say something to break it. “So you wanna get food and hang with us?” I asked. “Nah I’m heading home. I just came here to get food for my little sister” Aran said, slanting his lips. “That’s okay,” Indigo said blankly. I felt a little bad for them because I knew they really liked Aran but would never admit it. Aran said his goodbyes and walked to the register to order his food.

“You okay?” I asked them while rubbing their back in circles. “Not really but I don’t wanna talk about it here,” they said. “That’s okay. When we go back to my house you can talk to us about it, if you’re comfortable,” Ash said softly smiling. “Order #47,” a deep voice said. We all looked over to the counter to see a man looking around the small, solemn restaurant. “That’s us,” I said while getting up. I walked up to the counter and gently took the tray from the man. He was looking at me with these deep, expressionless eyes. “Thank you....” I said and walked back to the table. “Guys let’s hurry up and get the hell out of this bitch,” I said while setting the tray down on the table and sitting back down.

“Why, what’s wrong?” Ash asked while getting their food out. “That guy over there at the counter. He’s giving me very bad vibes” I said uneasily. We all looked over back to the counter to see the man still staring at us. “Oh hell no. Grab your food and let’s get out of here” Indigo said while getting up. “I agree,” Ash said also getting up. We all grabbed our food, and we began walking to the door. Aran then walked up to us and asked where we were going, with bags of food in his hands. “That man over at the counter keeps staring so we’re gonna dip,” I said. “Ohhh. Well see you guys on Monday” he smiled and waved. “Bye,” we all said in unison as we continued walking towards the door. As soon as Aran walked out, the man started approaching us way too eerie-looking for our own liking.

“Where are you ladies going?” he asked with a groggy voice. “Home. Now if you would get out of the way sir,” I said raising my eyebrows. “I don’t think I can do that,” he said stepping closer to us. We all backed up and I put my hand up in front of him. “Back the hell up,” Ash said. “I don’t like your attitude,” he said looking me up and down. “I didn’t ask. Now get out our way. It’s the last time that I’m going to ask” I said while I started to get pissed. Nothing irked me off more than people like this.

“And if I don’t?” he said taking yet another step closer to us. There were a few people around us who were recording but they didn’t do anything to put us out of this situation. Typical. We took another step back and that’s when I was fed up. I dropped my bag on the ground and I kicked the man in his groin. “Oh shit,” Ash said. “Well, we told him to back off,” Indigo said giving me my bag. The man was sprawled on the floor, groaning in pain. Lmao, he slumped.

We all walked out of the restaurant in silence. But as soon as the doors closed, we burst out into laughter. “PLEASE THE WAY HE JUST FOLDED,” Ash said while wheezing. That made me laugh harder. We continued laughing for like three minutes and we started to make our way back to Ash’s house. We all took our shoes off at the door and we walked into their room. I sat down on the floor, Indigo sat on Ash’s desk and Ash sat on their bed. We all sat in comfortable silence while eating our food.
