Soldiers.
Individuals selfless enough to willingly put their lives on the line for people they do not even know.
People who mentally suffer as they desperately cling onto the hope that is beginning to run scarce.
True warriors, devoted souls.
One man’s fear is another man’s exodus.
Joining the military is a debatable decision. It offers an opportunity for academic as well as financial success.
Or things could take a turn for the worse
They could witness events so devastating to the point where they would never be able to return to that “normal life,” we all take for granted.
How do I feel about soldiers?
I admire them.
I adore them.
I worship them.
These persevering and courageous beings do so much and do not always receive the proper recognition.
Imagine going to an unknown, top-secret location over 1,000 miles away from the “family” you may never get the chance to see again.
Imagine constantly facing the possibility of losing your life on a day-to-day basis.
Better yet, imagine never being able to walk or write again.
We do not realize what we have until it isgone.
We do not acknowledge the risks and dangers that our Military face.
It is a gift to deal with such a burden, but to still be able to smile and enjoy the happy aspects of the life we were chosen to live.
So, I will leave you with one final remark.
Keep fighting, keep pushing, and never give up.
Your dedication and sacrifices will never go unnoticed.
As soon as you feel like your life is changing for the worse, is the exact moment that it will begin to get better.
