You Are
You are the words that tangle and turn
And finally fall into order.
You are the ocean and billows that churn
To sigh on the sand at its border.
You are the night with cloud covered sky
That rolls out a blanket of light,
You are the voice of a soft lullaby,
That whispers sweet peace in the night.
You are the candle, the single warm flame
That drove out all traces of gloom.
Silently into my cold world you came,
And made my heart flourish and bloom.
