Lust and Desire
It was lust and desire
That ignited the fire
The sunshine between each storm
That made his arms warm
And a place she wanted to be every day,
Fearless of the pain he may cause her on her death day.
Though he will pay while he lies next to the lifeless body he
So despretly took the life of: She-
She did not deserve what she got,
But she did anyway and fought
With everything she had,
Her life was truly sad.
Why did he do what he chose?
He poses as a lover, hosed
Her with love and cherished
Her till her due time, perished
Her with every word and sentence he’d spoken
But still poked at the broken
Heart hanging by a thread
For she thought it was real; He bread
Her heart to believe everything
But he broke the ring
Of promises he made,
He would then get his dues paid.
His heart wasn’t so pure, for it made her so sore
It truly hurt her to the core.
She felt her heart break,
But never let that take
Her body whole,
Or her pure soul.
