Chapter 1

George O'Riley was small and fast,

He was the leading spy at last,

He is on a flag that sits on a mast,

His days as a normal wood-mouse are in the past.

The men came in the middle of the night,

Their country winning the war in sight,

Don't like the look of them George said in dim light,

Looks like Germans George said quite.

George and Emily followed the men's trail,

Unconvinced they were here to bail,

To the sculptor they sent mail,

Aye, Aye, boat about to sail.

The sculptor had great power,

He lived beside an old clock tower,

He was known not to cower,

Not even to men so sour.

We knew their plan,

So first to offer was old Dan,

But another said I can,

And Emily offered herself to the man.

The sculptor saw the love in this,

And I offered one last kiss,

The men came and left in bliss,

Not knowing their plan would go amiss.

There she stood all in stone,

In that German car all alone,

The engine ran that made a drone,

And I was as stiff as a bone.

The car down the road came then,

First to spot it was hairy Ken,

We came out of the den,

And flipped the car, only took mice ten.

We got her down,

And back into town,

Our paws were brown,

But we had the crown.

We had stopped the fall of the spies,

The sculptor told no more lies,

Emily stands in the skies,

And my love for her never dies.

Forever-more they looked for him,

George O'Riley and his kin,

Every motorway, every bin,

For all the coins they should have a tin.

The Sculptor: The Sculptor has the power to turn living things to stone.

The Germans: The Germans were on a mission to capture the leader of the London mice spies (George O'Riley) because it was the mice spies that brought the information about when and where the German bombings were going to happen.

Emily: Emily is second in command (after George O'Riley).

'For all the coins they should have a tin.': A paraphrase of the phrase 'if I had a coin for every time that happened'

makaylakay: I love love this story! It's written incredibly and well thought-out plot! I love how it's a different twist in fantasy fiction, other then the usual vampire or werewolves. Love the romantics and drawn to the two characters so much already! This book will draw you in within the first chapter and ...

Erin Crowley: The concept here is really strong, but the execution is definitely lacking. Tenses, grammar, etc are all off, with at least one or more errors per 'Page' on my phone. The writing style is almost broken- sentences move into each other awkwardly, and are filled with an excess of "filler words", lik...

Hawkebat: Playing both Kotor I & II and Swtor I found the story line interesting and it held me until chapter 35 Very good story and plot flow until then, very few technical errors. I felt that the main character was a bit under and over powered, as it fought for balance. The last few chapters felt too f...

Olivia N J Hamel: I want this book. I love it so much. It is so enjoyable to read and to have a copy of this always, I would be very happy, to always be able to come back and look at it again.

ArgyrisMetaxas: Thrilling story which builds layer ontop of layer. A few mis spellings every few chapters. What I found special was that it took a modern day problem and took it to its logical conclusion and plays this realism with gritting precision. I'm always on edge ready to shout from adrenaline. This is gr...

Alisha Tabassum: The story was so beautiful and I absolutely loved it. The only problem is the grammar and spellings. Other than that, its perfect! I think it deserves a lot more views than it currently has. Honestly, I've never read anything like this before.

Jessica Esa: With a tantalising end to the first chapter, the authour has given us a treat and a welcome addition to the fantasy adventure genre. To limit it to just such would be an injustice however, as this novel clearly draws on elements of historical fiction, fairy tale and horror. Simply, there's someth...

Jordi Roig Avellanet: The first one really took me up for a ride and surprised me really pleasently. This one, up until now, has been amazing too. The characters and their powers are very curious and I'd like to see where all this intense dark plotting goes. I hope it gets finished.

dd1226: I love reading about other countries and I think this story about Cambodia after Polpot creates awareness of the tragedy that happened there and the actions of the U.N. to hold elections. The heroine of the story is easy to relate to, a modern, middleaged woman looking for an adventure, wanting t...

internathunal: I was held captive by your sense of style. I would love to see more from you. I enjoyed this immensely.

genlynne2379: I read the other review of this book and I must say that I disagree with it wholeheartedly. I do not believe the author put the apostrophes in the names just to be unique, but because the characters are supposedly of a different race than humans. They are Anmah. They should have different names a...
