Chapter 1

It's like the event ended before it started
And I was there to see it all
It just makes me wonder

There's no such thing as a beginning
Only a middle and an end
And I stand asunder

It wouldn't even matter anymore
Of how it all started
I can only imagine

Even though I stared in pure confusion
I could see clearly
Of all that has happened

chorus

I am stuck inside someone else's eyes
And things seem a little bit blurry
All these things happening around me
Made everything go by in a hurry
I don't really know what to do now
Cause it's unpredictable how life is

There's something wrong with all of this
Something that shouldn't be
I blink and it has disappeared

Dazed I walk around in this wasteland
Not caring where I go
But anywheres better than here

Not as if anything else could go wrong
Aimlessly wandering around
Dunno what has come over me

chorus

bridge

I can feel the rest of it comin' on
Couldn't do anything
The old age question is when

There's too many distractions in this place
I can't focus on what's around
I can only spend so much time here.

Jessica: This was something that I was not expecting at all. The way things intertwined together-the stories of the different characters-was good and fit together. I would fix up the writing and punctuation of the story. Overall, interesting and a good read.

Jessica: This is a story that I could not stop reading. It is amazing how everything flowed together and what happened in this book is one that I would not have expected. Very talented author and a great read.

Anehalia: This review is for the first chapter:I struggled to get through the first couple of paragraphs. The first couple of paragraphs were all setting detail without any introduction of characters. The description of the setting used repetitive words and had some tense mix up for words. It made for a ve...

Someone: This was a fun, entertaining read. Although the novel wasn’t stylistically polished, and although the first couple of chapters struggled to hold my attention, the rest of the novel was engaging and beautifully done. JanThompson: This book gives a beautiful description of a country which one rarely gets to see. The contrast between rich and poor is very evident too.The storyline actually sheds a compelling light on why women in certain countries sell themselves just to help their families or even to survive themselves. Maryam Rehman: The story was overall amazingly penned down. I loved how the story transitioned from the lavish city of London to the war torn Aleppo. Even though the story had some loopholes in some places, it made me contemplate failing in chemistry, because I was up all night glued to my mobile screen rather ...
