Chapter 1

It's like the event ended before it started
And I was there to see it all
It just makes me wonder

There's no such thing as a beginning
Only a middle and an end
And I stand asunder

It wouldn't even matter anymore
Of how it all started
I can only imagine

Even though I stared in pure confusion
I could see clearly
Of all that has happened

 chorus

I am stuck inside someone else's eyes
And things seem a little bit blurry
All these things happening around me
Made everything go by in a hurry
I don't really know what to do now
Cause it's unpredictable how life is

There's something wrong with all of this
Something that shouldn't be
I blink and it has disappeared

Dazed I walk around in this wasteland
Not caring where I go
But anywheres better than here

Not as if anything else could go wrong
Aimlessly wandering around
Dunno what has come over me

 chorus

 bridge

I can feel the rest of it comin' on
Couldn't do anything
The old age question is when

There's too many distractions in this place
I can't focus on what's around
I can only spend so much time here.

Dinzy: OMG!! I bloody loved this story and to be honest I want more like maybe a part II... It was so scary that I will be sleeping with a night light because I was so scared. I literally am holding my teddy bear. That is how good this story is. It started out mellow like any normal story would; but in ...

Someone: This was a fun, entertaining read. Although the novel wasn’t stylistically polished, and although the first couple of chapters struggled to hold my attention, the rest of the novel was engaging and beautifully done. You had me fooled until the end. The rest of this review will contain spoilers fo...

Maryam Rehman: The story was overall amazingly penned down. I loved how the story transitioned from the lavish city of London to the war torn Aleppo. Even though the story had some loopholes in some places, it made me contemplate failing in chemistry, because I was up all night glued to my mobile screen rather ...

Deleted User: As a teacher/scholar of British literature, there's nothing I like more than a well-informed tale of historical fiction, particularly one dealing with the murky events around Elizabethan England. Black Dog is full of gritty, well-chosen details that make the period come to life, and a plot that ...

Jan Imonti: Loved the story, but didn't like the delivery...had to read this on my computer on line. Wasn't able to download it to my kindle. Excellent story, lots of twists and turns. Fairly quick read. Love the versitility of Mitchell's writing. Keep up with the great mysteries.

Jacquie Walker: This is one of the best books I have had the pleasure to read. Claudio has created a very "real" world brought alive as his words paint a rich tapestry of the lives of his characters and the world they live in as they journey toward their destiny.I recommend this to all who love this genre.... it...

Deleted User: You put a lot of effort into this story, and in some places the detail is lovely. The beginning is really good. There is a lot of good detail in the first paragraphs. I get a good feel for his confusion. But I am lost in the back story. I have no idea where this is going. Perhaps mention someone y...

Jordan Young: *ALERT FOR POSSIBLE SPOILERS* Where to start? I don't know how to sum up this review, this story was absolutely sensational. Brilliant. Flawless. I loved every single bit of this story, it is truly amazing. I read this story in fifteen hours, it is magnificent. I loved everything about it, the p...

crystalholes: This is a great book, I've read several on here that I've literally had to grind my teeth just to get through. This was engaging, witty, and smart. No grammar problems plaguing so many of the pieces on this app. Definitely publish-worthy.

Darren Powell: Very nice read. Lots of surprising treats from: Schrodinger’s cat and dervish dance forms; to sensei masters and brownian motion. I wasn't expecting this, so it was a pleasant discovery. Also liked the 'cross-over' events connecting one character's/or group's journey to another. I like how that wa...

Deleted User: (A review in progress). I like this. It's sparse, gritty and atmospheric - reminiscent of the classic Golden Age of American detective fiction of the Thirties. I've only read the beginning, but I'll definitely be back. This writer knows their stuff and has done their homework on detective work. T...

IceWinifredd: Hello there!I have to say that i really enjoyed this story a lot! I'm a huge fan of the Zodiac Signs and the things that come with them or things that we can add to them in literature to make them more interesting. I never thought that Capricorn would be the bad guy. Maybe Scorpio or Gemini or Vi...
