Chapter 1

The aimless meanderings of a wandering man
Who woke to the sun and the desert
With robes dragging behind, never taking a misstep
The light and the sweat on his brow will never blind him

He knew of a city beyond the horizon
A sense of place
A sense of belonging
Drawn to a place that he'd never seen
A single-mindedness overtaking

Short of breath
A transparent red
Flowed from his hand as he drank from a cactus

Ran as fast he could
When the wretch appeared behind him
Stumbling, panicking, fearing and falling
A taunting image of the city reaching beyond his grasp

Hurting to breathe
Inevitably
Calmly carrying the unconscious body away

Locked inside a room
At the top of a tower
Table, chair, bed and the rest
To live quite comfortably here

The moon rose and the night had fallen
'Twas still daytime 'round this pillar

Where am I? he questioned
Home, she replied in a rather deep voice
On the other side of the wall
Amidst the bubbling of boiling water

Now I'll be another minute
Before I will come in

It opened revealing her nude appearance of ugly
Was strongly attractive
She began an act that would last for the rest of the night

Seduction
Pleasure
And the tingling between his thighs
But the city beckoned him once more

Many days and nights passed
Before she left the door open
By mistake
He took this chance to escape
Avoiding all of her traps beforehand

Free from his prison
He took a breather at the foot of the tower
Before crossing the barrier
Where the magic wore off

Compass, bow and arrow
Belt, helmet and shield
There will be no tomorrow
As they fly over the sandy field

Now she must create another
To satisfy her sexual needs
He finally reached the city
But as objects levitating indeed.Start writing here ...

Elizabeth Pau: I have never read a werewolf book before so the whole concept of werewolves was new to me.The overall story is good I suppose, it could be planned out better as I don't think the whole plot is down, which really can harm the story.I assume that English is the second language of the author and I r...

ernbelle: When I first started this story I was a little unsettled by all of the information that appears in the prologue, and wasn't sure if I would continue. However, I am very glad I did. The plot was very well thought out and really interesting. There were not any page breaks or markers to acknowledge ...

Jade Jez: What a wonderful, immersive book from Eliott McKay. It starts with an air of mystery, introducing main character Michaela, the clumsy teenager. From there, it whisks you off your feet and dumps you into a beautifully written world where you can almost smell and hear everything happening. I go...

John Reed: Seadrias masterfully captures the impressiveness and complex scope that a science fiction novel should provide while carefully crafting an entire universe that will leave a reader in awe from start to finish. The only flaw I could find is that I wish I could have read more. This book is certainly...

Steve Lang: I thought this story was imaginative, and well thought out. I also think it was an original piece, and not a rehash of previous scifi stories I've read in the past.Thank you for the effort put into this tale, and I look forward to reading more of your work!

Nate_L: This story is amazing. The style, the description, it all drags you in. The characters are mostly the well known characters from King Arthur. There's Merlin, the sword: Excalibur. I recommend reading this through, at least a little, as it's a very satisfying read. I added it to my reading list af...

Ro-Ange Olson: Loved it and couldn't put it down. I really hope there is a sequel. Well written and the plot really moves forward.

Olivia N J Hamel: I want this book. I love it so much. It is so enjoyable to read and to have a copy of this always, I would be very happy, to always be able to come back and look at it again.

emilie14: Omg!!! This is a very well written, twisted, emotional, has you hanging on the edge of your seat book!! This story is based on a human huntress named Esmore, who is part of the last remaining humans in the world, and she is a Token Huntress who loves to go out and hunt Vampires (the other remaini...

Alex Rushmer: This was not what I expected, but I enjoyed it a lot Malfoy was always one of the characters that I liked a lot, so I like that a lot of this happens between him and Colette. Usagi Kita: This story is emotional from beginning to end. You get to watch the characters struggle and grow, maturing in different ways so that they come to be the people they are meant to be. Inea is insanely adorable, and his antics made me laugh more than once, and Kaedon is perfect for him in so many wa...
