Lessons

Lessons never learn’d.

Lessons learn’d anew.

Lessons ignored until the bitter end.

What good are the lessons?

After a certain age, learning lessons make no sense.

Can’t go past and the future…

What future is that?

After a certain age, learning lessons seem futile.

Lessons of what not to do next time when there is no time left for next time?

There is only a would of, could have, should have of the past.

Regrets. Regret I didn’t make more mistakes?

What good does that lesson teach me now?

Sarah Luongo: I'm a big fan of the format of the book- the concept of incorporating poems and within the story and sectioning off periods of the story with each poem. It made it easier to read, and made the unimaginable easier to comprehend. What some people may skip over may be the most important part in this...

Fabia Scali-Warner: Wow. This works reminds me of Allen Ginsberg, and at times even Prevert. The arching storyline is interesting, but I loved the care given to every verse. What a gem!

aizza2611: The poetries made the book soooo much better. Your writing is Just so so AMAZING and you are so talented. Loved this book Just as much as i liked your other book "texting him". 12/10 😍

auroraaurora1288ag: Every single one of these poems made a mark in my mind I love them. I love how you describe your emotions so deeply, it’s truly beautiful

Elvis Presley : This is an excellent poem with ups and downs..So good..I recommend for all.

apioelizabeth33: I loved the book so much, and I would recommend it to myself..

Rosanna Wiltshire: Great plot, Charlotte is getting slightly annoying at this point, but hopefully she matures further in. Check for spelling and grammatical errors within the story. I found myself re reading a few times because of the spelling of some words or "you're" being used instead of "your".

doveyoga888: 5 stars, I recommend this to anyone looking for encouragement, compassion, or motivation

Claire Kimanuka Rukundo: Special book and I like it very much
