A Door Closes

After soaking in a warm bath,

The glow from the candlelight comes alive.

I start to feel nervous.

The tears come to my eyes.

But I get up the courage.

I see you in the distance.

I reach out to touch your hair.

But I see you’re with somebody else.

A door closes.
