Confess and Obey

You have died numerous times,

Your spirit fades away only to be reborn,

Like a serpent, you slither to the ringing chime,

A ride across the Styx is one you can't afford.

You get down on your knees,

Fearful of the masters you wish to appease,

The fog envelops you as you cry,

Now all that's left is to truly die.

Like a dog who obeys the order,

Waiting for the nightmare and misery to end,

Without command, it all begins in disorder,

Knowing the punishment of flesh is to rend.

The dark calling transcends,

From the depths, it will ascend,

From all desires comes confession,

From all pain comes obedience.
