Poetry from Pain (Book One)

Poetry on pain, death, depression, and survival. Not for the faintest of heart. *This book, along with my other poetry books, are going to just be excerpts from now on. I am in the process of combining all my poems into one book, called "In My Darkest Hours." This new poetry book will be fully edited, show my journey through mental heath and will have some new poems(mainly new poems.). If you liked this book, you will love the new one coming out.*

When I was younger I thought that pain was a fantasy. I thought everyone had a happy life. I thought pain was fake. But I was imagining a fake world. The real world is full of pain and sorrow. The saying sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me. I believed it when I was younger but now I know words are the most powerful weapon.

Words cause a lot of pain. They can break a heart. But words are also the most powerful medicine. They can stitch and cast a heart. They can sign the cast when no one will.

I wish my world I was in when I was younger was real. But no. People feed off others pain. But why? Why? Why cause and feed off pain? Is it worth it? NO! It was and never will be worth it.

So why? Why cause pain? Why feed off it? I don’t know. But I do know that even one person can make a difference. And one by one we could end pain and suffering, together. The fantasy I and others had can be a reality so please help me make it a reality.

Imagine a world where even sticks and stones won’t break bones. Where pain is a fantasy. Where no one caused and fed off pain.

Just imagine
