TO LOVE A GORGON
Snakes they hiss the serpents song
Scales they gleam, the tail is long
Cat-like pupils, eyes they shine
Upon the dead doth Medusa dine
Mortals beware of her gaze you see
One look only and to stone you’ll be
A boy’s love if she could have her way
But she stayed too long no longer day
Moon it raises full once more
Screams they come, quick lock the door
MANY PARTINGS
When angels come to earth to dwell
They must be careful tales do tell
Lest they find love in mortal’s eyes
Through touch and kiss great danger lies
BLOOD MOON
A creature comes bringing doom
Its master calls at full moon
To find the undead and their kin
By teeth and claws the vampires end
