The confusion leading her to the dark
The grief blurring her vision.
Happiness existed as dark as the devil's dread
The loneliness felt like a cold embrace.
All she had was burnt down in flames,
And the misery of her life lies within her hands.
A mistake she never made, was counted as a sin.
And the coldness lives, deep within.
The drugs keep her numb from the pain,
but the demons remind her that it’s of vain.
I lose, you win. She cries out loud.
All it takes is one cut and she will be free from the chains.
One truth, for which she can tear down her lies
And one promise, which she wished had never been broken.
