Bubba

I'll never forget the day I found out, we were just running errands, out and about.

Your mother, and I were just engaged in conversation, she said something that had me wondering.

So I turned to her, and then made a suggestion, we oughta stop by care net, because I had an aching suspicion.

As we walked in, we were greeted by the staff, we were seated in the lobby, then after a few minutes, they took you to the back.

As I patiently waited, growing ever so nervous, the nurse returned to retrieve me, and that's when we found out about our wonderful little fetus.

I was by your mothers side through the whole nine months, attended to her, because that's when a father's job.

The day you were born I made you a promise to forever be there, until my breathe is no longer.

I love you son ❤️.

ᴄᴏꜰꜰᴇᴇ ʙᴇᴀɴᴢ: The poems are short, they describe everyday actions that most people, in one way or another must have experienced in life. A text left on seen, a love unrequited, losing hope, pushing through. Beautiful messages we all can relate to. Amazing! Keep writing because you're doing great!
