tear-stained face with

glasses and overgrown eyebrows,

and frowned, regarding her

tangled hair and chapped lips,

the dry patch of skin on her nose,

all the acne she'd been picking at, probably

scarring by the second,

and she looked at her laptop, with

five different tabs, one for each

homework assignment she couldn't understand,

and she said to herself, very quietly in

her head, if this was

the end, would i mind?
