Father

People said that you're sick,

They said you don't remember faces,

You don't recognize names,

I knew you are,

When I held your hands in mine,

I looked up to your face,

Then I realized it is not in the shape I'd remembered,

You'd tried to hide the pain,

You'd tried not to burst out,

But I could feel your teary eyes in mine,

How could I'm not?

I ask my mind,

How life would be tomorrow?

The life without your presence,

To continue living in your absence,

To not feeling lost when I couldn't call my last lifeline anymore,

Where I need to survive even I'd bleed,

Forget the pasts, forget the hatred,

All I need now is you,

Your presence in my every journey.
