10 p.m.
I’m in bed trying to fall asleep
Key word trying but failing

11 p.m.
I re-open my eyes for the tenth time tonight
I get up and get myself a glass of water

I swallow the pill

11:30 p.m.
My thoughts are finally silent
Eyes are no longer watery from forcing them shut

12 a.m.
I am so asleep that nothing could wake me up
I’m usually a light sleeper

10 a.m.
My mom orders in more of the blue pills
She knows that they help me fall asleep

They also stop the nightmares

11 a.m.
I have a doctor’s appointment
They higher the dose on my anxiety meds
