LOVE IN THE ABSTRACT PART 1
Love in the abstract,
A time for introspection
While on the intersection of life
I’ve wasted enough time.
Lost one wife
At the risk of sounding cliché
This is my cathartic way of dealing.
What I need is time to deprecate
It’s in the DNA of my writing.
To describe altruistic, fairytale expectations of love
Life is full of setbacks and rejections, they say.
You’ll hear no, a lot more than you will yes.
This is the incantation, you’ll hear most analytics
Chant to talk themselves into insanity.
Don’t talk me to death, incessantly or till my ears
Fall randomly from my head.
You drone on never realizing
I can’t hear a word you just said!
