I see a home far away
Up in the mountains
Away from the city
There’s so much of nature surrounding
No cars, no horns, no phones
Just birds and animals
It’s far where the sky is not torn
It’s beautiful
But I don’t know who lives there
I have never seen anyone in the balcony
Feels like I’ve been there
But I don’t know which way will take me there
To God I sent a thousand prayers
Told him to show me a way
Please grant my wish today
Give me a hope of ray
Now it’s his turn
To give me something in return
This pain is hard to explain!
Its flames have become
Unbearable and unable to wear
There’s no one who can hear
What’s going inside my head- it’s unclear
Even to me, I fear the day life may appear
In front of me, telling me to quit the game
Telling me there’s nothing ahead
There’s no home- it’s a mirage

Ted Yellow: A beautiful collection of poems that come with random messages about life. The use of metaphor is amazing and adds to the overall beauty of the poems. A little more attention to the use of punctuation can make it even better!

Fabia Scali-Warner: Wow. This works reminds me of Allen Ginsberg, and at times even Prevert. The arching storyline is interesting, but I loved the care given to every verse. What a gem!

Fir Breidel: Nice. I feel sad knowing the author passed away. It is a nice story. Thank you for writing us this lovely story

Claire Kimanuka Rukundo: Special book and I like it very much

Mackenzie: This was a big switch up from "Texting him". At first, I was unsure about the poetry but now I think it helped tied the story together. With each poem, you got to see a part of V's heart while it was not blatantly said. The relationships in this were so thought through and were so great. I loved ...

Maristel Espiritu: I am so disappointed with the ending. I was so happy with the character of elizabeth. Its a matter of talking it out.

KayKayBrianne: Need to read this book asap aspa aspap

Withoutanyfs: I wish more people read this bookThis is a short book (very unfortunate) which describes the journey of a "painted" boy. It doesn't romanticize pain, it explains it, It explains the suffering in such a beautiful way, that I almost don't want to believe it. But I do, I can feel the pain. My heart ...

Laraine Smith: I was also a victim of verbal, physical, and sexual abuse by my father. One time, he threatened to beat me with a belt. This story enabled me to talk about it. Thank you. :)
