A Search for Home
I see a home far away
Up in the mountains
Away from the city
There’s so much of nature surrounding
No cars, no horns, no phones
Just birds and animals
It’s far where the sky is not torn
It’s beautiful
But I don’t know who lives there
I have never seen anyone in the balcony
Feels like I’ve been there
But I don’t know which way will take me there
To God I sent a thousand prayers
Told him to show me a way
Please grant my wish today
Give me a hope of ray
Now it’s his turn
To give me something in return
This pain is hard to explain!
Its flames have become
Unbearable and unable to wear
There’s no one who can hear
What’s going inside my head- it’s unclear
Even to me, I fear the day life may appear
In front of me, telling me to quit the game
Telling me there’s nothing ahead
There’s no home- it’s a mirage
