Regret

No more words to be spoken

The fights already done

No more tears to be shed

The pain has just begun

Why was it us?

We were stronger then this

Why did it have to be us?

It’ll be you that I miss

Things won’t ever be the same

We’re just common friends now

I’m the one to blame

Hoping beyond hope we haven’t taken our final bow

I meant something once

But now that’s through

I feel like such a dunce

But that’s nothing new

Tomorrow will shine on a new day

Filled with the sudden change

I’ll be lucky if I make it to "ok"

As life flips another page

She meant something once

As she still does to me

I hope she can forgive me just this once

For forgiveness is key

She was never normal

She’s amazing and fun

She was more than formal

She’s cooler than anyone

I wonder what she’s thinking now

I hope this is something we can mend

I hope to fix this somehow

For she used to be my best friend

mariedavismd312: This was Avery spiritual read. The last 2 chapters where very disappointing. That was such a let down unless there is a sequel. Burgess should have been punished for what he did. There was no explanation for his hatred for Jeremiah. I figured he was being set but just had the wrong person. I lov...
