I bet

Bet you thought I was done
A mess on the floor
Bet you thought you won
After I showed you the door

You tore out my heart
And threw it to the ground
You were bad for me from the start
And now we're no longer bound

Bet you think I'm all alone
You would be wrong
Bet you think my sanity's been blown
But it's going on strong

Got a new girl
She's got it going on
Love to give her a whirl
Dancing on my front lawn

Bet you hope I'm lost
Without you to guide me
Bet you hope I've felt the cost
But now I'm simply free

Now I couldn't be happier
Now that we're apart
And your personality couldn't be crappier
While this is my fresh start

My girl's the best
Nothing like you
With her I feel blessed
And there's nothing you can do

She has me like you've never had me
She's got it going on
You're still trying hard to see
How I saw through your con

So long to you
It's already ended
You know its true
That my heart is now mended

I bet you're done
A mess on the floor
Bet you now know that I won
After I showed you the door

Deitaro: This one is my absolute favourite so far. It made me think and this is a real rarity considering any kind of writings nowadays. Just.. so much emotions, passion is radiating from the whole text, countless metaphors and i should go on with it till eternity. This definitely needs to be continued. I...

Makayla Danielle Waits: Just finished one of the most amazing books I have ever read. I connected to it in a way I can't quite put to words. It was as if this person was speaking to me, and me only. Telling me her stories and struggles and how this person handled them and how they worked or how they kept trying; but all...

Richard D. Cooper: I wish I could write poetry like this. It's clever because it also tells a story, too. I like the flow of it, the way sentences slip together as they should. Very good indeed. I have also started to read your others works, and will review them when finished. Keep going. Never stop.
