About the Author
Born and raised in New England, straying to other countries now and then before settling in to becoming Mom to two sons; Deanna Raymond has been a lover of words since she could string together a sentence. Literature, Journalism and Creative Writing were always the only classes that truly mattered in High School and College and writing was often the one thing that saved her repeatedly. In her day to day life there are always too many journals, a scattering of pens and often a flurry of late-night thoughts scribbled down before sleep can come. After years of writing poetry as a form of release, she has plucked up the courage to publish this first work, Through the Gathering Dark.
