‘Counting Rings’
‘Counting Rings’
Dendrochronology; Bark splitting, hair turning different shades of gray. Hearts lying in a hand of no doubt. Every Moon brought me back. You closed the gaps. Closeness was beneath me. The hours were Bible Read. Give me time, in no time at all, the end has almost reached its beginning. 4 in 2, 7 in 8, circumcising numbers off the top of my head. Truth be told; I was never very good at Math. Hands of change…make change. Matchsticks waving hastily. A blaze lye’s in wait. I tell myself one thing, but you post of a Winter Storm Warning ahead! The Seasons are patient. And the snow never changes its mind about feeling the cold!
