Adam & Eve

Your precision is mathematical
When you count what’s right or wrong,
And you have vaulted your desires
While I try to break the lock.

I am tired to keep dreaming
Every night the same mistakes.
They come preying on my feelings
And they leave my heart in ache.

So to hell with all your values,
Let us live a little while!
I don’t care if I leave Eden,
And I change my whole attire.

While we cherish one another
You’re the angel by my side.
We’ll make hymns from our stories
And we’ll wear our sin with pride.

So you see now my beloved,
That no serpent was involved?
Just my love and your desires
Got us banished to this world.
