Chapter 1

I don't know what to say to make you feel better.
I can't tell what the future has for us, but just know we can do it. We can make it through.
The police are searching, you know.
You aren't alone.
Just.. look. Everyone makes mistakes. But I'm here.
Close your eyes, and breath.
I'm not good at comforting people, but I've been comforted.
I don't know why she's doing this to you.
God I wish I could tell you these things.
I wish I was capable of comfort.
I wish I was a victim of sympathy.
I wish I could fall out of my over-egotistical ways. Pride.
Pride has become my enemy. Pride is pushing me back.
I have to much pride. At least, I blame pride. Shame.
I am ashamed.
I can't help you through this.
I quietly watch.
I watch you sulk in the corner. I can't watch over to you and touch you.
Why?!
Why me?!
I'm sorry.
. . . Forgive me?

Susan O'Reilly: Hard subject made easy to read with beautiful writing. Highly recommend

Nathan Jeremiah: The story’s plot is very well-developed with nearly no flaws. As far as characters go, it feels very original and the interactions between characters is completely realistic. Attention to detail is extraordinary, to the point that I don’t commonly see it in many published books. This read has tru...

Mary Abigail: I have always been a serious reader but reading romance has always been an outlet for me to be happy and this, makes me happy. It's entertaining with just enough drama and maybe a bit more - I do need more.

ngonisiga: I am at loss for words in my attempt to descibe the sublimeness of this story. Kudos to you! I am so impressed at the way the story weaves itself from Navarre to England and back and finally to Sicily. You left me wanting more for this is the stuff dreams are made of in book lovers.

Radecki: This is one of the freshest stories I've read in a while. Author (Thetawave) has accomplished that rare feat of creating something original. If I had to label his writing style I would call it "baroque LSD".

sujitha nair: What's so distinct about this story was that it could easily be real.Praveena can be your classmate, neighbor or that girl you saw at the coffee shop today. The important decisions she makes and the dilemmas she faces, remind us of our own twisted lives.

Patrick Johns: The Prince was an exciting read. I enjoyed the spoiled bratty protagonist and his drastic change through out the story. The world building was well though out and clear. The author did a great job painting a picture for the reader without having a map. I liked the connection to real life leaders....
