To all my black queens reading this, I want you to know how important you are.
I want to tell you are a beautiful person inside and out,
We’ve always been the substantial group of people emotionally and physically out there.
Going back to when we were sold into slavery, beaten, raped, and forced to carry the white men children
We have come a long way from where we were in the past and we owe it all to the women that came before us.
Harrent Tubmen guided the enslaved people to freedom. Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat and go sit in the back of the bus. Maya Angelou who is one of the best poets out there.
January 20, 2009 was a historic moment in our country when the first-ever African American President was inaugurated.
We also gained our first-ever African American first lady Ms. Michelle Obama.
We have black queens that are mixed like our first ever African American, Asian American Vice President Kamala Harris.
We still have a ways to go but automatically, the goal is true equality for the African- American community.
