Used and Abused

All I want is to be loved, is that too hard to ask?

I don't want to be used and thrown away; I refuse to be your trash.

If that's all you want from me and all you think I'm worth,

then you better find somebody else.

A girl who will settle for less, who doesn't mind being shoved away

and forgotten like yet another trophy on your shelf.

But thanks to you, I now understand exactly what my mother meant when she said,

"Don't let a boy use you, baby, ‘cause if you do, you're better off dead."
