Imaginary Man

Imagine the way it feels
To fall asleep in his arms.
As each wound heals,
With your hands in his palms.
Each breath against your skin,
Each whisper in your ear.
The sound of his grin
Is almost impossible to hear.

Imagine what it means
To feel his kiss on your lips.
You’re only in your teens
As his hands run to your hips.
But you’re a good girl, aren’t you?
You’d never fall into his trap.
You’ll eventually break through
And realise it’s all crap.

Imagine who he is,
That’s all you can do.
He’s the one you’ll miss,
It will never be true.
None of him is ordinary,
Really, he’s quite extraordinary.
But he’s just imaginary
And your thoughts will never be legendary.

Imagine him now,
Lying beside you.
When the cold is on your brow,
Imagine him say ‘I do’.
He isn’t there
To watch you sleep.
But would it be fair
To let an imaginary man weep?

catd69: Karim is a very talented writer. When I started reading his journey it took me into the book and I was in the story till the end. I've never felt this way with any other writers stories. If you want to read a gripping adventure, this will be the one book I would suggest you pick.

Elizabeth Robbins: 4.5 starsAs far as apocalypse stories go, this one took a new direction. I'm glad someone finally addressed the need for a vampire apocalypse! This is sort of a multi-genre festival of delights. With hints of forced societies, vamps, hunters, romance, apocalypse, government conspiracy, and thrill...

Ruby0h: Overall I thought your story was really good! It drew me in right away and kept me interested as the story progressed. Atractivo Sumit: The story is an amazing blend of what we call natural, plain romance along with subtle emotions and interesting twists. The plot is so beautifully interwoven.

sunshinebennybear: First, I would like to address the elephant in the room. The author forgets her own character's names. She mixed up Liam for Jace, Harri for Maiya, and Freya for Clary. I love The Mortal Instruments as much as the next fangirl, but I find myself unforgiving about this. Throughout the story there ...

Riskaninda Maharani: This story told about love between Christopher Schlösser (a German) and Anggia Selestina (an Indonesian) that happened in Düsseldorf, Germany in an autumn. The German autumn which was so different with the autumn in the other four season countries, especially in Anggia's eyes when her heart-movin...
