Living in Other People's Spaces
One thing that I wasn’t prepared for in living on the road was the fact that we would make most of our memories in other people’s houses. And it’s heartbreaking to have important memories connected to spaces you know you will never get to see again, and even if you do it won’t be like it was before.
My family is fortunate to be putting down roots and begin building memories in a physical space that is our own, but this collection is about the previous [un]occupied spaces. When you live on the road, you can often only pack your memories with you.
