What Am I? \ A thing that no one has Everyone gives And no one gets in return \ You can't see it or feel it But sometimes you can hear it The faint echo crying "I'm here!"

When I Was Younger

When I was younger, I dreamed of fame.

To share and express in a way that only fame would let me.

I dreamed of being loved by the crowed.

I had plans and initiative that rivaled some of the greatest stars.

What if I took me out of time?

What if me saw me?

Could I handle me?

Or would the failure of my dream come crashing around me?

I could look at myself and say,

Look at you, are you proud?

Is this who we are destined to become?

My voice would echo loud

As I ask, who would dare bring us down?

Society dear, crushes dreams.

And we are someone not truly meant to be

And could we really take the fall?

Maybe its not them who holds us back,

It’s us.

The world isn’t what you think

Times are hard, lives change in a blink

But I am still you

And our dreams will still come true

It doesn’t matter if it’s us or you

Cause sometime you don’t need to know who

You just need to know, can you win?

Or will you lose?

: This is my first book reading on here and I absolutely loved it! If you like a book that'll keep you up late at night then this is your go to. What makes this novel so special is that it shows that even if your not blood related some people would put your needs before there's.

M.L. Bull: Hello, Aalia!Your story compelled the emotional pain and struggle of a teenage girl very well.. The imagery was also convincing and well-written, showing the different personalities of your characters and their actions. However, I do think that many of your sentences are too lengthy and could use...

Jevron Macalino: You started the story after Chuck Vs. the Fake Name happened and I like your version more than I like the original one. The five or so episodes after the fake name should not have happened that is why I like your version better. I hope you will continue writing Chuck & Sarah's story from where y...

LesAnne: The blurb alone got me hooked. The story is intriguing and evocative. Despite the few typos, the writing style is effective and unique. Though I disliked stories that jump back and forth, this one I didn't mind. I even found myself looking forward to those 'moments'. I like Grace, her character ...

LouiseJ2: I enjoyed the detail you went into with regards to the case. It made the UNSUB appear believable. The crisis in the middle of the story was my favorite part, very dramatic but not over the top. I feel like sometimes pairings can be overdone but I liked that some of the relationships were a little...

ianwatson: The comedy is original and genuinely funny, I have laughed out loud many times reading this book. But the story and the plot are also really engaging. The opening two or three chapters seem quite character-dense but they all soon come to life and there is no padding, filling or wasted time readin...

cicheah: Very well-knit story which sustains one's interest from beginning to end. Most enjoyable and a pleasure to read.

Faye Paul: Rachel Sikkema engages me as she opens wide a window into the troubled soul of Danny; a young man living on the edge of life with whom I truly connect throughout this story of his journey. I sit on the edge of my seat, willing him in his choices, as he navigates the life and death chessboard of d...

Janaki Sundararaman: The frame of the story has a beautiful structure on which the narration is spun with twists and turns tolook forward with lots of expectations about the coming chapters. There are many characters in the story line, all woven into intricate style to speak the story in its own way.The protagonist is ...
