Age Rating:

i was too young

I was only 10
Just an innocent 10-year-old girl playing on the playground
Maybe because I was so young they didn’t care
Just talking away not having a care in the world
But then I felt your hand where it shouldn’t be
Even at the age of 15 I can still feel the coldness on my bottom
The stinging left behind from your slap
But it didn’t matter
Not to you
Not to the principal of the school
Not to the police
I will never forget that teacher that caught you before you ran and hid
The only person at that school that seem to care
‘But he didn’t know better’-they said
‘He has made so much progress and we don’t want to disturb it’- they said
I guess it was innocent 10-year-old me’s fault
