Different?
What is different? There has been a change

Somewhere in there.

Already, I cannot tell if you
need a companion or you just do
not want to be alone.

Are you lonely? Are you uncannily used to
the companionship that I provide? By
your side I let you lean on me;

Your mind, your heart, your soul.

Now that you are so occupied, that void is
filled up
no longer do you seek to find an artificial filler to
mask that cavity that was once gaping.

What was real then may not be
real now.
Unfortunately you, my dear, you love to live
with denial lying so close to yourself.

Recognizing not that you no longer need
me your inner heart is confused. How?

You put me aside, hopeful that I,
with my generous heart, can understand that
you only can have one infatuation at a time.

You, again, hopeful that I can wait,
that I will wait.

You, my love, have learnt not of the way.
The way things work, of the heart,
no, yes, you have had a long day...
