Chapter 1

I was waiting for you to find me
I made you fall for me and teased you on muggy summer nightfalls
I played nice and charming
And it worked, you danced and you jumped never asked me why

I am the sinner but you are the hangman
The cause of your own downfall
I only helped you to take the first step
To dig your own grave, you were the one

I wore the face of a cute puppy
I made you fall for me, you fell for my tricks, believing my lies
I played nice and charming
And you sacrificed yourself hearing my crushing lines

I am the sinner but you are the hangman
The cause of your own downfall
I only helped you to take the first step
To dig your own grave, you were the one

I know I’m irresistible
Don’t even try
Avoiding me is useless
I’m already in your mind
I’m the sinner
I became one
In the moment you found me
Under the midnight sun

I am the sinner but you are the hangman
The cause of your own downfall
I only helped you to take the first step
Digging our grave with a casket for two
I am the sinner but you are the hangman
The cause of your own downfall
I only helped you to take the first step
To dig your own grave, you were the one

vane 3071: This book taught me so much and I even began to think, no wait know, it's important that people of all ages learn more about it. I may only be 14 but all we've always been told is that there the "special kids" that they have "issues", basically that they weren't normal. If we were to associate wi...

Laraine Smith: My only suggestion on the grammar is to use www.grammarcheck.net. I have it bookmarked on Google Chrome. I see myself in the determination in this beautiful story! I have Cerebral Palsy, and I have dreams that I have been working hard for, too! The humor made me laugh!

fellipxx: I loved this novel, it was very sweet and big on the emotions I really enjoyed it and could not stop reading not even for a second, I even cried a little bit at a few touching moments too. And overall I found this book sweet, realistic and cheesy (I like the cheesy stuff).

Avell Kro: I've only just started reading this, but I can see that this writer really knows her stuff. Her theme is painful and traumatic, and her sense of place is deep and strong. Being originally from Yorkshire myself the story resonates with me personally, but this is good writing. I look forward to com...

Mary Abigail: I have always been a serious reader but reading romance has always been an outlet for me to be happy and this, makes me happy. It's entertaining with just enough drama and maybe a bit more - I do need more.

Laraine Smith: I was also a victim of verbal, physical, and sexual abuse by my father. One time, he threatened to beat me with a belt. This story enabled me to talk about it. Thank you. :)

ngonisiga: I am at loss for words in my attempt to descibe the sublimeness of this story. Kudos to you! I am so impressed at the way the story weaves itself from Navarre to England and back and finally to Sicily. You left me wanting more for this is the stuff dreams are made of in book lovers.

PersephanieBoyce: I was intrigued with the subject of this book from the snip it I read, and as I continued to read I felt like I was inside the characters brain. His thought processes, his memories, everything was so beautifully and forcefully made aware. The descriptions were vivid and detailed. At times, I did t...

Silver: Its a very good story you have here. Felicity´s ability is interesting and original, I love it. The setting of a hostpital was a good choice, especially since we get the scene with the other interns, gives it a very real feel. There wasnt much plot for me to rate, so I´ll update as the story prog...

Colin Milroy: To begin, I don't think that the first review of this story was fair at all. Based on the popularity of this story, I would say the one-star review hasn't done much harm, but I still felt the need to address it. Now I will do my best to be constructive.I liked the concept of this story. I found i...
