Five years ago, I suffered a nervous breakdown, due to the end of my long-term relationship with the father of my four children. I was admitted to a psychiatric hospital, after several suicide attempts and was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. It was at this point that my relationship with poetry began. I use poetry as an outlet for my emotional struggle. Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is a disorder of mood and how a person interacts with others. It's the most commonly recognised personality disorder. In general, someone with a personality disorder will differ significantly from an average person in terms of how he or she thinks, perceives, feels or relates to others.

Poem 1

Hatched a she with unknown blight
Who thought it fine to feel with might
To rage with fire and frenzied flail
A life that ends a sorry tale
As she watched and ached to be
A myriad of somebody
With all the secrets she betrayed
Along with all the words she gave
Contrite, blushing and ashamed
A malady that’s never tamed
But a venom will erase
And disintegrate impending days

pencil: It is all about love and kindness and good worthy things winning in the end. Emotionally very charged and very nice to feel people over coming their circumstances.I also thought too much like a feel good magazine style.

Sarah Luongo: I'm a big fan of the format of the book- the concept of incorporating poems and within the story and sectioning off periods of the story with each poem. It made it easier to read, and made the unimaginable easier to comprehend. What some people may skip over may be the most important part in this...

crissy: Awesome work. The characters are so beautifully flawed and easy to relate to. The protagonist Bethany Hill is a woman that I would definitely want to meet in real life. The author has managed to make me visualize the story like a movie. The two time frames of past and present are also so beautifu...

Michela Tran: This story is great so far, I hope the author will continue it. The main characters have so much life and the descriptions of their back stories really give you a connection. The main conflict with Jesus actually gave the beginning a good amount of suspense... Or maybe it was just me. Keep writi...

MeeraWest: Words are not just some words when written from your heart, it has a far more depth. You have very well proved it.

Dominic Breiter: I'm writing this fresh, having finished only moments ago after speeding through the whole story in about three days, which is not hard to do. This is the epitome of an unreliable narrator, and my allegiance as the reader was constantly manipulated, which I loved. A very very painful read. Excelle...

Laraine Smith: I was also a victim of verbal, physical, and sexual abuse by my father. One time, he threatened to beat me with a belt. This story enabled me to talk about it. Thank you. :)

graceeming: I thought the whole story form the beginning was captivating, it really gave you the hunger that you were longing for in a story. Yes the end was not something that I enjoyed, but I recommend this to anyone that enjoys fantasy of this type.
