Chapter 1

To him it is unbelievable. Completing high school a few months ago without any planning on what he wanted to do. Few years of school with only five months of break and he have to do this studying thing again.

“It was too soon, I didn’t even get to have an enough rest at home!” James with a sigh.

As he walked and line up behind a guy who looks like a nerd. Complete with his thick and black full frame glasses. Along with curly bright hair that somehow matching up with his shirt but contrasts colored pants.

“Not to mention his shoes that look big enough like it was stolen from a mascot’s costume.” Murmured to himself until the guy in front turns around looking at him.

“Hi bro?” James awkwardly greets him.

“Umm... Hi. Do I know you?” Asked the guy.

“No, you don’t know me and I don’t know you” James replying him politely but getting a cold greeting at first somehow started to irritate him.

As he waited for his turn as now is the turn for the guy who was in front of him. With the unfriendly look, he gave that face to him every time he turn around. James started to feel uncomfortable after that greeting and right after that, that somehow keep looking at him like he is a criminal and a wanted man.

While waiting his thoughts are like his soul getting out of his body and floating around his head. Without knowing what will happen to him after this. He wonders if the college would be same like schools. Will there be many students in a class? How many classes per day? Do we have a classroom? Questions one by one popped out of his head but none of them lies the answer that he seek.

“Sir? Sir? Please have a seat” as the female staff called him and invite him to sit for his registration process.

“Can I have your Identification Card and your Letter of Offer?” She asked.

“Hold on a moment” James reaching his wallet on his back side and pulling off his Identification card. Next, he reached out a letter from his backpack and show her the Letter of Offer.

“Let me see, Mr. James Larson, alright this is correct. Now let me see the offer letter. Alright, so your faculty would be Modern Language and Communication under the course of English Literature. Everything seems to be in order.”

She finished reading the letter her hands ticking the computer keyboard in a fast pace action.

James looked at her as her typing pace are quite fast and having thoughts that she might be a gamer or just a typist who is good with the computer keyboard.

“Okay Mr. James, everything seems in order. I wish you all the best in this college!”

“Thank you! Have a nice day!” said James as he walked away from the chair he was sitting on.

He completed the registration and now he needs to get the key to his dorm so he has to get to one more place before he is able to rest.

After long registration procedures and a long walk from each office including where his dorm was, James finally settling down in his room. A room for two but his roommate is nowhere to be seen right now. Done unpacking his stuff and setting up his laptop on the table. He jumped on the bed which surprisingly comfy and neat. He looked at his phone it was already eight and he already had dinner before coming to his room earlier. He heard the door was knocked and his roommate has arrived.

“Hi, my name is George and I will be living here. Which means I am your roommate.”

“Hi. Eh?” James again was surprised to know that his roommate is the nerd earlier. Know he has to deal with this guy for the rest of the year.

“What a day!” James mumbled and frown as his little comfy time now ruined by this newly come roommate.
