Chapter 11

Sunday, 11am •

The next morning I woke up with a HUGE headache. I most definitely regret drinking a lot last night at the party. I laid there in bed taking in my surroundings, it looked I was in a boy’s room?

I heard someone knock on the door and looked over a bit. “Come in.” I said as Jason stepped inside and grabbed a chair looking at me.

“Headache?” Jason asked.

“Y-Yeah, just a little..” I lied. “Hey, by any chance did we do anything last night?” I asked.

“Welllllll,” he paused which made me panic on the inside. WE DID SOMETHING?!

“Well, what?” I questioned looking at him with a panicked expression which caused him to chuckle softly. “Why are you laughing?”

“I’m joking Mari, we didn’t do anything. I swear, I would never take advantage of you like that.” he replied, a half smile appearing on his lips as he looked at me.

“Why don’t you go head downstairs and eat breakfast? I left some Tylenol on the table for you to take after eating.” Jason said.

“Yeah, right, thank you.” I replied slipping out of his bed as I took a second to look at the clothes I was wearing, it was.. HIS CLOTHES. And he said we didn’t do anything.

“Hey! You said we didn’t do anything! How come I’m in these clothes?!” I asked while pouting, he just laughed so I got myself up and pummeled my small fists onto his shoulder.

“You really have terrible memory. When we came to my house, I told you I laid out some clothes for you to change into so you would sleep comfortably.” he replied as I stopped punching him.

“Ohhhh, riiiight..” I replied awkwardly. “I’m gonna just— you know, go downstairs and eat breakfast now, excuse me.” I said awkwardly exiting towards the door.

“Don’t forget to take the medicine afterwards!” he yelled as I headed downstairs.

HUNTER’S POV:

It was Sunday morning, the day after the party. And that day was the day I asked Quinn for Maria’s number, but she said no.. So, I stole it!

I dialed her number and put the phone to my ear waiting for an answer. Then.. click!

“Hello?” the person answered, but it wasn’t Maria, it was some guy’s voice.

“Uh, hey. Who’s this?” I replied.

“It’s Jason, Maria can’t reach the phone right now. Who’s this?” Jason asked.

“It’s Hunter,” I replied.

“Oh, what’s up? Why’d you call?” he asked.

“I just wanted to check up on Maria.. What’s she doing at your place?” I asked.

“She’s fine, she woke up earlier. Last night was prettyyyy tiring for her.” he replied.

Pretty.. tiring?.. Did Jason and Maria actually do that thing thing last night? Is that why she’s at his house?!

“Oh, I see. Well, when she’s done doing whatever can you please tell her to give me a call back?” I asked.

“Yeah, sure. No problem at all.” he replied, then hung up.

Maria and Jason didn’t actually do it, did they? I don’t know what to think honestly.
