Chapter 10

I’ve been noticing how Jessica would always steal glances at me. It was hilarious. She must’ve been thinking of weird things when she bumped into me. The way she was acting nervous and shy near me was so cute. I wanted to pinch her cheeks and kiss her nose.

My eyes darted right into her ass when she bent down to get something from her gym bag. Of course, it was a such a nice view that I almost jumped at her. But sadly she got up before I could. She sighed and sat down beside me again.

‘She must be really tired’ I thought. I rummaged through my own gym bag to find my own water bottle and then held it out for her.

“Here, you can have some”

She stared at the bottle and then to me plenty of times.

“What? It’s not poisoned or anything. Here just take it” I threw her the water bottle and her eyes widen when it was coming at her. Thankfully, she caught it. She opened the lid slowly and then brought it into her mouth. Sexy~

The way she would swallow, while her throat would move and sweat dripping from her neck down her chest. I licked my very own lips when a sudden image came to mind.

‘Dang, it’s an indirect kiss’ I thought when she finished the bottle and handed it to me. I grinned even wider when there was water covering the edge of her lips. Hmm, I wanted to lick it off.

“Huh?” Jessica’s face was confused when I happily took my water bottle. I shook my head, not erasing the grin on my face. Then all of a sudden, she started blushing. She must’ve realized what I was thinking.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to. I-I..” she stuttered hard while looking down, not meeting my eyes.

“You finally get it, huh?” I said.

“I- I didn’t mean to. I’m sorry again… I didn’t mean to finish it, I’m going to buy you a new one.” She said immediately then standing up to grab something from her bag. I look at her confusedly, then realization hit me.

‘Oh. She didn’t get it at all. I swear this girl is too innocent and cute. Hmmm… I like it. She didn’t even realize she just had an indirect kiss on me.’

“I’ll be back”. She said, turning down the stairs, then disappearing.

I frowned when she was gone.

20 minutes later…

Two girls came in sight, but I couldn’t see who it was. They were approaching the teacher who now looked furious and was yelling right at them. When the yelling stopped, both girls started approaching my way. What shocked me was that it was Jessica… and Sarah.

I had a long staring contest with Sarah before she introduced herself. She was basically my cousin and our way of introducing ourselves was staring and glaring. She grinned at me as she held her out for a handshake.

‘British people’ I rolled my eyes.

“Hello, nice to meet you. I’m Sarah, umm…” Sarah greeted, still smirking at me. Jessica tip-toed to her feet and whispered something at Sarah’s ears. What are they talking about? Sarah nodded at something then turned to look at me again. I raised my brows at her.

“Her friend” Sarah finished while smiling like a girl in love. My smile disappearing right away, but I quickly covered it up.

“Oh Hello cousin. Nice to see you back” I smiled again and stared at her again.

The competition begins again.

I didn’t know they were cousins. After their little mini introduction to each other, they busted out laughing while I look at them confusedly like a lost puppy. Sarah explained everything to me. She said that it was their way of greeting and that they were both really close to one another. I sighed in relief that it wasn’t the same as Carly’s and Sabrina’s.

So now, physed was finished and we were walking down the stairs. Sabrina and Sarah were engrossed in a conversation, both talking about their lives while I follow awkwardly. Before we walked into the change room, Sarah placed her arms around mine. I looked at her wide eyes but she just smiled at me. Sabrina looked taken back at her action but just continued anyway.

When we got in, Leylah and Carly met up with us. But then again, their eyes widen in shock when they saw Sarah came in. I’m pretty sure they all know each other. Both girls looked at Sarah’s arm around me. I slipped out of them immediately, but Sarah quickly placed it back.

“Aw come on little Jesse” she whined like a little kid while pinching my cheeks. I blushed at that. Sarah chuckled and then removed her arms from me.

She greeted Carly with a hug and a wave to Leylah.

“It’s nice to see you again Carls” Sarah smiled at her but Carly just forced a smile. I wonder why?

“Yeah. Good to have you back” Carly replied. “How was London?”

“London the place? Or London, my little sister?” asked Sarah. She had a little sister named London? Cool.

I wasn’t part of their conversation so I slipped out but Sabrina grabbed my arm. “Where are you going?”

“Umm… t-to change..” I said quietly. Sarah brought her attention back to me, and so did Carly and Leylah.

“Don’t worry Jessikins. You can change in front of me anytime” Sarah said while smirking. She brought me into a hug, her arms slipping around my waist. I stood there awkwardly while frozen. She smelled good though, like red roses.

I heard Sabrina huffed, Leylah’s face turning into a frown, and Carly looking pissed. What the hell happened? When Sarah released me, she looked at each of their expression and smirked. But not forgetting to a wink at me.

‘God. What on earth is happening?’ I decided to just wait till they’re all gone so I can change.

“So how are you all ladies? I missed you all! Especially you, Carly and Sabrina? How have things been?” asked Sarah. Carly flinched and Sabrina looked down, averting Sarah’s eyes. Clearly, there was something wrong with them. Nothing was heard but silence until Carly spoke up.

“Nothing much. Just the same. Anyway, I have to go. I have a meeting with the student body council” Carly said while dismissing herself. She took off running, but then stopped in her tracks and looked at me.

“See ya Jessica” she smiled, but it seems forced and then walked out.

‘That was awkward and weird. I didn’t even get a chance to say bye’ I saw an empty space on one of the benches, so I sat on it.

“Well okaaayy~~” Sarah looked towards the door where Carly left. “Anyway, we have to go. Sabrina, our parents have dinner tonight.” Sabrina nodded and quickly changed. This time, I turned around and looked away.

After a couple of minutes, I heard Sarah call my name “Jessikins! Here’s my number. Make sure to text me, babe. Bye little cutie~ “ She winked and then grabbed Sabrina’s arms with her and dragged her out of the change room.

“Woah since when were you two close?” asked Leylah while approaching me. A hint of amusement and sadness? In her voice.

I shrugged. “I-I.. just met her… She helped me out”

Leylah nodded and then placed a hand on her chin “So you going somewhere after? I mean the school is basically finished.”

I shook my head.

“Good! I’ll take you to Starbucks. That’s where we’ll talk.” She said while smiling.

“Bu-“ I was about to refuse but she cut me in.

“Nuh uh. I’ll come to your locker and wait for you after you change” she said and swung her bag into her shoulders.

“You’re not going to change?” I asked.

“I just did. See?” she said, pointing to her body. I blushed. I didn’t even notice she changed so fast. She smiled at me and began to walk off towards the door. But before she stepped out, she yelled (since there was only two of us left. I didn’t even notice)

“It’s a date! You’ve got to come or else….”

“What?!” I freaked out. A date? Wait!

But too bad, I couldn’t argue or refuse anymore. She already left me alone in the change room.

A date, it is.

I sighed. I never went on a date.
