Chapter 9

“You need a big brother,” he said more to himself than her.

“I would love a big brother,” she exclaimed grinning at him. “I never had one before.”

He marveled at her excitement over the idea of having him as a brother. If only she could feel that excited about fucking him.

“Ok baby sister,” he said smiling too. “You got yourself a big brother.”

Hearing her laugh made him feel like he had a purpose in life. One better than just being the best quarterback in the NFL. If he could make her laugh like that every day, he could go to bed very satisfied with how he had spent his time on earth.

“I’ll clean up,” she said getting up and grabbing their dishes.

“Do you want to watch a movie tonight? I have all the Oscar nominated films.”

“That would be great.”

When they settled in front of the biggest TV’s he had found, Chris fiddled with the remotes until Emma located a place to sit. He smiled when she picked the couch. He settled his big muscular body right next to her, his thigh touching hers. She was trapped against an armrest and couldn’t move away from him.

After he pushed play for the movie, he swung an arm around the back of the sofa, letting it come to rest on her shoulders. She stiffened but he didn’t remove his arm. By the first action sequence, she had relaxed and was leaning against him. In the middle of the movie, her head fell onto his chest. Moving down the sofa he gently laid her down with her head on his thigh. His fingers moved her hair out of her face.

She was out cold. He stroked her hair as he watched the rest of the movie. At the end of the DVD, he was loathed to move and possibly awaken her. She looked so peaceful and didn’t seem to have any nightmares. At least she wasn’t talking in her sleep. He moved out from under her.
