Chapter 31

You are a ghost from my past

A ghost I loved once before

A ghost I can’t stand now

Cherri Johnson

“So there are four rooms. Me and Mel get the suite and y’all settle the rest.” Ryan said as he picked up his and Melody’s bags.

Gigi was the only person who wasn’t here yet since she claimed she had to babysit her little sister til her mother came back home.

“Well I think that works out pretty well cause I can just crash on the couch and I’m sure Alex wouldn’t mind sharing a room with Gigi.”

Alexus swatted Dylan in the back of the head.

“What’s that’s suppose to mean shit head.?” She asked.

Dylan rubbed the back of his head and shrugged.

“Well, there wasn’t any meaning behind that.” He shook his head and made his way into the beach house with Alexus right behind him.

I looked towards Jace who only smile. “C’mon Sugar, let’s go find our room.”

My eyes stretched as he took my hand and led me in the house.

I was a little off about sharing a room with Jace even though we are together.

Sex is totally out of the question and I’m hoping that he understands that without going ballistic on me.

Shit there I go again.

Every since that night I saw Jace flip out, I’ve been seeing him in a new light.

I’ll agree to everything he says and I don’t think twice on anything he do, even if it’s wrong. I know I shouldn’t be that way towards him since he never treated me different when it came to my Haphephobia, I just can’t help it though.

“I think this room will do, whadya think Cherri?”

My head snapped up, breaking all my thoughts.

The room was beautifu but what else could I expect. Ryan’s family were filthy and undeniably rich.

“I use to always lose this room to Kevin but this time I won.”

He dropped our suitcases on the ground and picked me up, settling down on the bed with me on his lap.

“I’m so glad your parents let you come on this trip Cherri, I would have absolutely died without you.

I fingered my way through his hair and sighed.

“I kind of told them that I was staying at a friends house over the weekend doing some major project.”

Jace rolled his eyes as a goofy smile crept on his face.

“I think your old man knows that your with me Cherri cause your parents know that you don’t have any friends.”

I frowned and thumped him on his head which made him drop me on the bed.

“First off, ouch, why did you do that?”

“You basically said I don’t have any friends you big meanie.”

He got up, folded his arms across his chest and pouted.

“Awee Baby, I didn’t mean it like that.”

I rolled my eyes and walked off but he pushed me against the wall and held my arms above my head.

“Cherri, I’m sorry sugar, forgive me?”

I kept my mouth shut but that only caused him to scoff.

He gently kissed my neck, earning a weird sound to escape my mouth.

“Don’t play so hard to get baby.”

I bit my lip as I tried to wiggle free.

His tongue grazed my neck as he nibbled on my sweet spot.

I held my neck back, giving him more access to my neck.

Jace quickly pulled back from me as I straightened myself up.

“Well that was something.”

My head shoot up to see Melody leaning on the door frame smirking her nosy ass off.

“Oh your dead meat Kingstons.” I yelled as I chased after her.

We ran in the living area and Melody abruptly stopped and turned around, grabbing my shoulders.

I bit my lip and closed my eyes as I tried not to shake her grip off me.

“Cherri, you won’t believe who Gigi brought here with her.”

I looked around the room, agitated with the suspense.

“Well are you going to tell me?”

Jace came up behind me.“What’s wrong?” he asked.

I could hear Gigi and her loud heels as she made her way to where we were.

Suddenly it’s like everything was in slow motion as Gigi and her guest came around the corner.

Melody let go of me and quickly came to my side.

“Cherri, are you ok?”

“Cherri, What’s wrong?”

“Do you know him”

Jace bombarded me with questions but I never got to answer them.

A smile slowly grew on his face before he stepped forward and grabbed my hand, planting a kiss on it.

“Yea, She knows me, She knows me very well.”
