Prologue
Kira was a normal seventeen year old trying to finish school with good grades. Since before she was born there has been an on-going war between the Kuro clan, a demon clan wanting human’s dead and the rest of the population, a mixture of humans and demons who just want to live in peace. One day on a school trip Kira is thrown into the middle of this war. When the bracelet of a Goddess chooses her, Kira must use her new found power to fight against the Kuro clan.
However Kira is not alone, helping her along the way are the scientists who found the bracelet and three demons. Hunter, Blake and Ryu are linked to Kira and will lead her along the way to defeating the Kuro clan.
Cobalt blue eyes looked around the main entrance of Tokyo Research Laboratory as the teacher called a register. A soft sigh fell from soft lips as she tucked her platinum blonde hair behind her ear. None of this interested her, why did their school trip had to be about science. Her worst subject and the one that made her fall asleep in class. She looked towards the class as they started to walk into the huge building.
Following the class she put in her ear phones, turning on her iPod on low as the women doing the tour started to talk. She was telling them about why the research laboratory had been built. Kira stopped feeling someone watching her. She turned to the right, looking down the corridor. Looking back to the group she found that she was alone. Kira took out her ear phones and walked down the corridor, not seeing the sign that said 'Authorized personal only.'
Kira walked to the end where a steel door ended the corridor, she looked to the side to see a pad that opened the door. She rolled her eyes and turned around, to go find her class. She turned around as the door opened, looking in side to see who had opened it but found no one. "Okay this isn't funny" she called out as she walked into the room, the door shutting behind her. Kira gulped and walked more into the room, looking around.
The room was square and had another door at the other side of the room. However in the middle of the room where three pods. Kira walked over to the pods and looked into it, her head tilting to the side. Inside the pod was a man about the age of nineteen. Kira knew that even though he looked to be about nineteen that the man was probably much older, his pointed ears showing that the man was a demon. He had long black hair that made it look like black ink against the glass.
Kira knew many demons, her adoptive parents where demons but why was this demon in this pod. Was he a part of Kuro, the demon clan that wanted to destroy all humans. Kira remembered when Kuro had first attacked, her parents had died that day because of them. Many humans and demons lived in peace but the leader of the Kuro clan didn't like that. He thought that demons where superior to humans and that humans should either be there slaves or not be alive at all. And so started the war against those who wanted peace and the Kuro clan.
She then looked into the pod to the right and found another demon sleeping. This demon had long teal blue hair. The last pod also had a demon inside, though his hair was forest green. Kira looked around and tapped on the glass, waiting to see if they would stir. After a few seconds she bit her lip and knocked on the glass, quite loudly. Yet they still did not wake, why?
Jumping in shock she turned to the other door in the room as it opened. She sighed and with one last glance at the demons, Kira walked into the room with the door closing behind her. The room had a control panel on the right side of the wall. The only other thing in the room was a podium in the middle of the room with something gold and shiny upon it. Kira walked towards it and reached out to the object.
Kira's eyes widened as the object started to glow gold and a sharp sound echoed throughout the room, an alarm. The lights went off and red light flashed. Kira looked around scared, what had she done. She backed away as the light off of the object grew, blinding her. Kira threw her arms up to protect her face and screamed as a gold light shot from the object towards her. Kira felt it hit her, throwing her back into the wall and darkness took over.
