Mr. West paced in his penthouse office after just getting the word about all the devastation that Molly has done. He knew that Silver was not going to be a match for his woman, but he underestimated just what kind of effect she would have on those who watched her take her rightful place in the world. He only hoped that he could get her under control enough to use it.
His hand went to his chin as he looked out at the dark cityscape knowing that he couldn’t wait any longer to get Molly... if he didn’t get to her now, she could definitely screw up all his well thought out plans for the kind of world he was planning on building.
Thomas had been a suitable addition to his regime, and has proven himself to be even more helpful than he could ever know. But, after getting rid of Andric and Edwina would Thomas still want to play ball and do his dirty work, or would he need to be dispersed of as well? “It would be rather convent to have one vampire who was a loyal dog to me.” He murmured as he thought.
The door opened and then Deo came into the room looking rather perturb. “I’ve got the information you asked for.” Doe offered.
“As you know she has killed Sterling and now Sliver. But, there has also been rumors that many others have fallen at her hand, or at the hand of her companions. It seems to me that Molly has formed her own kind of military operations.” Deo stated.
“Yes, I could see her forming a militia to find me... anything else?”
“Yes, and I’m afraid it isn’t good. She has gone into the Four Kingdoms.”
“What?” He growled.
“That was what I was told. Prince Tipton should be arriving soon to tell you the rest.” Doe answered.
Mr. West ran his hands threw his hair. “If she went to that realm...” He started thinking that even he had underestimated his woman, his other half, just as completely as everyone else had. But now he had to get everything back under control. “Get David to bring me Aggie. Now!” He snapped.
“As you wish sire.” Doe nodded with a bow.
After he left, it was only minutes later the door burst open with a pissed of Tipton making his way into the office. “She was in the Four Kingdoms, did you hear that? This is a fucking disaster!” He growled. “We shouldn’t have worked with Sterling’s deranged female, or that damn she-wolf. I knew they wouldn’t be able to keep their mouths shut about what we’re up to.”
“What’s done is done. Sterling is dead, and so is his woman, by our girls own hands. I know many woman now know what Molly is capable of, and we’ll exploit that.” He stated, trying to calm himself down, but could feel his control slipping at his at the situation. “Now, I only just heard that Molly had gone into the four kingdoms, what has happened?”
“What has happened? She took out my army, my whole fucking army!” Tipton roared dropping into a seat.
“Your brother?” He growled.
“He’s alive. Damn those females! He would’ve been dead if they just would’ve kept their moth shut!”
“That is the second time you’ve brought them up. What do you mean by that?”
“It was Silver who told Molly about Ryklin. And that she-wolf confirmed it. That’s at least what my insider told me, and from the way things happened I’d say she was right. That’s why Molly hurried to the autumn kingdom, to save her mate... and we all know how a wolf is with its mate...” Tipton snapped.
“Yes, they are brutal.” He acknowledged, taking his seat at his desk. “We still have the Queen Winter in our pockets, right?” He asked, but received no answer. “Fuck!” He roared, bursting from his seat and flipping over the massive wood desk, then struck in with his stone hand smashing it to pieces.
Tipton crossed his arms as and shook his head. “She has fucking destroyed my footing with the Queen of Winter, and anything we we’re hoping for with the Queen of Spring, is finished.
“Molly’s demonstration of her power to the Ice Queen has grounded that cold hearted bitch so firmly in place, there’s nothing I could fucking do to convince her otherwise. She’s even made a boarder in our world, do you understand what that means? She has control over the elements… our world has accepted her as the fucking Queen of Autumn!” Tipton growled.
Mr. West‘s breathing slowed as a plan started to form in his mind. “That might work better for you when we have her in our hands Tip. Let’s think this through…”
“But I haven’t even told you the best part yet. I was told she’s killed the electrician, she, a tiny, petite, woman, took out a mountain of a man! We have to get her under control Irvington, or she is the one who’s going to come out victorious!” He snarled.
Mr. West calmly took his chair that was in front of his mangled desk and grinned as a plan formed in his head. “Do you think you could strengthen the portal from the British club to the base we have in New York?” He asked.
“Yes, that could be easily done. Why?”
“Because I have an idea, one I need to run by Augustine of course. But I need Molly to be trapped in New York need. Thomas is still in the states finishing with the little problem I had. But after that, he could help set a little trap for our deadly girl that could lead her to our hands.” He chuckled.
“But What about her mates?” Tipton asked.
“All her husbands are here in Europe. What better way to take her when she’s out from underneath them.” He smiled.
Tipton chuckled, and then shook his head. “I could make it a one trip portal, that way no one can follow behind her. I could even set it up to know when it was Molly who passed through it. Know one will know where she’s at. Well, until she calls them.”
“Well we’ll have to put a stop to that...” He murmured as he thought.
“There’s also another problem we might have.” Tipton sighed.
“And that is?”
“If anyone is with her when she enters the portal, I can’t stop them from coming through... and who knows who might be with her. Also, have you forgotten that New York is where the damn banshee lives. He’s going to sniff her out in a heart beat, And believe me, when I tell you from experience, that man is not only deadly, he’s fucking cleaver. We don’t want him sniffing around.”
But Mr. West just chuckled now seeing his plans would easily come to fruition. “Why do you think I have a moll in her cluster? We’ll know everything that happens when or if she runs into that damn banshee, and then we’ll have him taken care of. This is going to be easier then I had originally planed.” He chuckled getting up to pour himself a drink.
“So, how do you propose we get her to the portal? I mean, we know how damn cleaver she is. Do you honestly think she would fall for some ridiculous trap?” Tipton asked crossing his arms.
“I know she would... if she thought Aggie was at the end of it.” He offered to Tipton’s raised brow as he offered him a drink. “The portal from the bar in Paris is still open, why don’t we start some rumors that her daughter is there. Once we have Thomas take her, take her and move her through so many damn portholes, they’ll have no fucking clue where to start to look for her. And once she’s in our hands, we get her pregnant and start the prophecy in motion making all our dreams come true.” He laughed bring his glass down to Tipton’s.
“It sounds easy enough, but as you’re finding out, nothing with Molly is ever easy. This needs this to be perfect Irvington. There can’t be any room for error, because if she has an inkling that something is amiss, all hell could break loose, and break loose on us. This is our one shot to get her… let’s not waist it.” Tipton told him in all seriousness.
A wicked grin played on his face. “That’s why I called for Aggie, and I’m going to make sure she knows play time is over. If she wants to keep her lover alive, then she will give me her mother... now.”
“And that means what for our plan.” Tipton asked.
“It means, I will know if it will work. I have come up with the perfect strategy on how to lore out our beautiful, but deadly, girl to us, and with not so much as a fight.”
Tipton now smiled, then laughed tapping Irvington’s glass with his. “Well then, I’ll be off to London to start on the portal just like I told you.” Tipton smiled and then threw back his dink getting up from his spot. “I’ll be waiting for your call.” He said.
David flicked his cigarette into the dirt as he stood in the back of the compound needing a damn break from the dip shits he had to work with. He shook his head, and then was about to walk back into the building when his cell went off. He glanced down to see that it was Nikon and was about to answer it, when he saw Deo making his way over looking not to happy.
He quickly shoved the phone into his pocket, and then tried to look relax and not to look suspicious. “Who pissed in your Cheerios?” He chuckled.
“Shut it your mouth.” Deo growled, and then, “Irvington wants Aggie... A.S.A.P! And that means get her ass up to see him in a timely manner.”
“Sure, no problem. But what all the ruckus about?” He shrugged, trying like hell to play it cool.
“It seems like Irvington’s queen is more formidable then even he’d thought. Tipton has just come from the For Kingdoms and she’s made a mess there. He wants Aggie to lead him to her mother, or else.” Doe informed him.
“Okay, I’ll call Nikon now.” He offered.
“I’m sure that’s already been done, but make sure that asshole has her ready to go.” Deo growled, then started to head back down the hall in a different direction.
David walked away from watchful eyes, and then pulled his cell from his pocket calling Nikon. “Irvington wants to see Aggie, now.” He whispered.
“Yes, I just got the call to get her ready?” Nikon answered.
“There’s more to it then that... Tipton was here.”
“Well shit, this can’t be good then!”
“No, especially if he now wants to now see Aggie. Have you heard from Matthew yet?”
“No, but I did find out that Irvington had him working in the states for Alexanders ex-wife.”
“Well damn... can things suck anymore for us.” David sighed.
“Listen, I just heard a rumor, that Matt was sent to the Four Kingdoms to help kill Ryklin...”
“What?! How in the hell did he get there?”
“That doesn’t matter. But now that I know where he is, maybe I can get ahold of him and he can find away to get her out of here...”
“Yeah well that’s just fucking great! We have to go take Aggie up to see that asshole, now. I don’t want to do that shit anymore Nikon!” David snapped.
“I understand your frustration, but play it cool. We don’t need any suspicion on you or Matthew right now either. I have a plan, one that can get us all out safely.”
“I don’t give a shit about our safety, just get ahold of Matthew and get Ryklin to get her the hell out of here!”
“I don’t care about what happens to us either! So do don’t act like I’m more worried about my ass then hers... Gov-no! I’m trying to what’s best to keep Aggie sane. If any of us are killed, I’m afraid it might just destroy her!” He snapped, then took a deep breath to calm down. “Look, I’ll text you when Aggie’s ready to go.” Nikon offered.
“Fine, how long will it take?”
“I need at least twenty.”
“Alright, I’ll meet you at the post. But remember that their will be eyes on us.” David warned.
“I know, Irvington is becoming more suspicious of me lately.” Nikon murmured.
“I think he’s looking for a way to get rid of you honestly.” David confessed.
“Yeah, thanks brother.” Nikon growled ended the call as he walked to the cellar like prison. He pressed in the code on the door and hurried in dreading how he would find Aggie. But instead of finding a mess on the floor hurting herself like he thought, she was soundly asleep on the bed.
It had been a month since he’d been down to see her because of Irvington. But the closer he got to her, the more he was racked with anxiety. She lied so still, her breathing looked so shallow, he was afraid she was sick, or worse, dying.
“Aggie, Aggie honey, wake up.” He whispered touching her arm. His heart was hammering in his chest when she didn’t move, so he gave her a little shake. As soon as she moved, he took a breath. “I need you to get up. Irvington want’s to see and I have to get you ready.”
She turned her head and looked at him with such clarity, he was speechless. “Nikon…” She whispered, taking his hand. “I must have dozed off. I’ve been so sleepy lately.”
He smiled then kissed her fingers. “I was so worried when I came in. You were so still, that I thought Irvington did something to you.” He admitted.
“No, I’ve been left alone most of the time... I think.” She laughed.
“Sweetheart, how are you able to talk to me?” He asked touching her check.
“I, I’m not sure. My mind has been very muddled lately, but then I have lucid times now as well. But maybe it’s because I’ve been so sick.” She sighed, but a haze started to form back on her face.
“You’ve been sick?” He asked and got a small nod to his answer. “I’m trying to get you you out of here sweetheart, but it seams something always happens to screw it up. I’m sorry it’s taking me so long to do it...” He growled.
“Don’t worry so much Nikon. Everything is happening for a reason, and we’re here playing our part in a much bigger pitchure...” She murmured trying to comfort him.
“I don’t care about the damn world sweetheart. You’re my wife, and all I want is to keep you safe! I just need to find a way to get a hold of Marcuse, or Nicolas somehow, then…” He started, but then she reached up and kissed him, really kissed him, making him groan. “Aggie, we don’t have time for this...”
“I remembered...” She whispered kissing his neck.
“Remember what sweetheart?” He groaned as she took his hand and placed it on her soft breast. “I need to get you ready to see Irvington, and David is waiting for us.” He said, but was having a hard time trying to calm down. “Aggie.” He growled as his tongue slipped into her sweet mouth. But when his hand reached her middle, he stopped, and looked at her.
He stood up pulling her shirt away from her stomach, and instead of seeing her smooth flat middle, there was a small mound. “You’re with child.” He whispered as his hand went to her belly.
“Yes.” She nodded looking into his eyes.
His hands went to his hair as he stood up trying to think what to do next. “Shit, I’ve got to get you out of here!” He growled looking around the room thinking of way to try and get her safe.
He was about to walk away when she grabbed his hand. “Need to tell you something... when she comes, do what she says!” Aggie begged as she shook her head to stay focused.
“When who comes sweetheart?” He asked.
“Please, even if you think we should stay, even if I want to stay, even if I yell at you to let me stay, we have to go, or everything will be for not!” She hissed before her mind started to wash away. “We will all take the, hard path, and I will lead someone to their death… tonight. There will be, blood, on my hands as well when this is through.” She whispered, then she disappeared into a fog.
He took her face in his hands wanting her to explain more, but her eyes looked right through him... “Son of a bitch!” He cried scooping her up in his arms. He hugged her close, hating how absolutely fucking powerless he was right now. But he was done, he was getting Aggie the hell out of there, now!
He picked her up taking her out to the room next to hers to get her clean up and ready to go see Irvington... he needed to make sure he had a way of getting them out of there, with out leaving any clues behind. Aggie was going to be hard to move, but with her pregnant, there was no time to spare.
He dug through her clothing finding a shirt that would hide her belly, because if Irvington found out she was pregnant... he would have him by the balls! He did what he could, but knew they had to leave, but he also had to find a way to tell David what was going on so he could protect Aggie!
There was no more time for waiting, they had to leave now or Irvington would get suspicious, and that was the last thing they needed. As he lead Aggie down the corridors that led to the elevators, he spotted David.
“Damn it, what took so long!” David growled under his breath.
“I got her here, but I need you to protect her and don’t let Irvington get to close.” He growled.
“Of course I’m going to protect her! What the hell is wrong with you?” David fumed.
“She’s pregnant David.” He whispered.
David hand stopped on the button on the wall and fell. “She’s what...” He stammered.
“You heard me. We’re getting the hell out of here with or without help. But I need to figure a couple things out because Aggie is going to be hard to hide in her condition.” He admitted.
David’s hand went threw his hair and then he nodded. “Yeah, okay. Just tell me what you need, and I’m on it. And I’ll make sure Irvington stays clueless.”
“Good, then you better get going so they don’t have clue of what the hell we’re up to.” Nikon growled, then with a nod he turned to leave.
David got Aggie into the elevator and pushed the button to go to the penthouse that was high about the night club. He took her by the arm where they were buzzed in. Irvington sat behind his big desk smiling at him sipping ion his brandy. “I’m glade you’ve made it, and I see Nikon did tidied her up in a timely manner.” Irvington chuckled.
David made himself chuckle as he sat Aggie in the chair in front of the desk. “Yes, but he wanted me to tell you that she has been extremely agitated, even hostel tonight.” He said hopping that would keep Irvington seated.
“Oh, I’m sure she is, but that could work better for me.” Irvington chuckled taking a sip of his drink.
David stood in back of Aggie with a hand on her shoulder, pretending to keep her seated. But Irvington stood and walked over to Aggie sitting on the edge of the desk in front of her, taking her face in his hand. “Hello Augustine dear. Is all your faculties back yet?”
“You already know it is.” She glared, shaking her head from his grasp.
“Tell me something. Did you see all the destruction that your mother was going to do to my plans, and decided not to tell me about it?” He questioned.
“I gave you everything you asked me for, and what I could see clearly. What happens from the middle of point A to point B… that you never asked for.” She answered.
Irvington’s massive arms crossed over his chest looking down at her. “I’ve been wondering, my dear, if you’re even worth my trouble anymore…” He said deep in thought. “But we will see. So, the reason why you're here this afternoon is, I want your mother in my hands, now.” He growled.”
“Now, I told you she would be within your reach soon. How am I supposed to get her to you? It's not like I can just snap of my fingers and there she is. My sight doesn’t work like that!” She yelled.
“Then you will find a way to make it work, or so help me god, Nikon is dead." He grinned. "No more games, no more lies, I either get what I want, or I don't need either of you."
“But, I don’t know...” She murmured, but then a hand smacked her across the face sending her head backwards.
David stepped in front of Aggie and he chuckled. “Have you also grown soft when it comes to little Aggie here David? Are you just as stupid as Nikon now?” He chuckled.
“No, but she is frail and sickly. If you damage her to much then we both know that she’ll quit talking, and what does that get you?” David seethed.
He looked David over noticing for the first time how protective he was over dear little Aggie. “All right, I can see your point, for now.” He nodded, then glared back over at her. “Augustine, I want you to focus as if your life depends on it... because it does my dear.” He stated coldly.
Aggie went into her mind and saw the timeline was once again managed. Something had changed but she couldn't make out what. She needed to get it back on the right path but she couldn’t remember how to do it. Then a vampire flashed before her eyes, one she’d seen only once before. Then she realized who it was, and how she set him on this course, and she had to say next to set the timeline right again.
“Augustine, tell me!” Irvington roared.
Tears came from her eyes, knowing all to well this was her part to play, and if she didn’t guide the timeline, all hell would break loose upon the earth. “If I tell you, if I really tell you how to have her… will you promise that Nikon can come see me every day?” She asked.
“You’re barging now my dear?” He chuckled, then got up from his place and went to take his seat behind his desk. She didn’t say anything to that, just sat there waiting for his answer.
The one thing she knew for sure was, she couldn’t give him the information he wanted easily, that would have him doubt her motives. In her minds eye she saw the cruel ways he’d use Nikon to get her to talk. This was best way to lead him from that path.
“Alright, I’ll play along. If you want to negotiate you must have something terribly valuable to me. But for me to give you what you’re asking for, I don't want to have your mother here in days. Do you understand Aggie… that means I want her with me now!” He growled letting some of the monster he was slip out.
She nodded closing her eyes. “I need to be quick, I’ve already been near you too long.” She whispered already knowing what she was going to see, but also seeing the slight hope at the end of it, and the hope for one the ones she loved in the end.
Her eyes flashed open and the words came pouring out. “You have a vampire, one that I told you to hire, he is the one who will turn the tide in your favor. Tell him to finish with his mission and head back to New York. My mother will be there when he arrives.” She told him in an hypnotic voice. “But his journey isn’t over with yet. To have your queen, you must make sure he kills the banshee king of the spectral plains. If he dose not accomplish that, I see everything falling apart for you.”
“Who is this king, and why is he a problem for me?”
“King Lennox is a fierce warrior who is feared by many men in and out of his realm. But he's is also one of my mother’s mates." She explained.
Irvington growled, but nodded his head at what her sight had seen. “Suggestions, my dear.” He asked
She stared at him tilting her head. “The vampire in question, he despise king Lennox. He blames him for stealing my mother away form him and crushing his dreams of becoming one of her mates. Call this vampire, tell him that if he doesn't find away to kill the king, that he will lose my mother for ever to this man that he despises most of all.
"I see this vampires longing for my mother has brought him to the brink of insanity… play upon it. At this point he would kill the devil himself to have my mother again. Assure him that he will have her, if this task is completed." She whispered.
A curl smile crept onto his face as he sat back in his chair looking at the opposite wall once again in thought. “My dear, you’ve been most helpful to me, and I will keep my promise to you. Nikon will be over to stay the night after his tasks for me are complete.”
He got up making his way over to her, looking her over once again. “You might still be useful yet. Deo does have such good instincts when it comes to these things.” He chuckled, walking away from her. His hand went to his pocket pulling out his cell and started texting.
David just stood squeezing Aggies shoulder for her to keep still. “Thank you David. You can escort Aggie back to her room, and when you’re done, find Nikon and tell him I want to see him.” He grinned as he texted.
He had Aggie almost out of the room when he heard Irvington talk, so he turned quickly to him. “Oh, one more thing. You’re going to the club tonight, and I want your choices of people who we can afford to lose. I’m baiting my trap, and I don’t want any of our good personal to get destroyed when Molly makes her way there.” He said with a smile turning away from him and back to his cell.
“Sure, I’ll get right on it.” He said helping Aggie out into the hallway. He hurried her along, taking her from his presents while he was so preoccupied. Now he had to figure out a way to take the men he knew to be good from the club without causing suspicion, and leave the asses behind.
If his mother-in-law was supposedly going to make her way to the London club… he knew Irvington was going to use Aggie to get her there. When Molly found out that Aggie wasn't there, anything with inhere reach was going to be destroyed. But maybe there was a way to leave her a message to...
Aggie took ahold of his arm and held on to it for dear life. He turned around and took her in his arms. "I’m sorry baby, I didn’t know he was going to hit you. He'd never done it before, and I wasn't expecting it. Damn it, Nikon is going to kill me!” He growled, then stopped thinking of something else... "You told them to kill Lennox. Why?" He murmured.
"No, it's not what you think. He's not the man I kill..." She whispered.
"What does that mean?" He asked but saw her eyes hazing back over and looking lost once again. "What's going on baby, tell me." He asked as he kissed her kips. Her eyes shimmered with tears as she took his hand and placed it on her little belly. “I know, I know. Don't worry, I'm going to keep you and the safe.” He promised.
She shook her head wanting to say so much more. She wanted to tell him what was about to happen, how hard it was going to be, why she said what she did. But as her mind slipped away, she knew there was one thing she wanted to say before she was gone. “Yours…”
