Chapter 1.

Bailey’s P.O.V.

I had finally escaped. I was breathless as I ran through the town trying to create a distance between me and my horror filled past.

I could slowly feel myself losing consciousness as my blood poured from the beating I received just minutes previously. But, I didn’t waiver from my goal of getting away.I was too caught up in my thoughts that I didn’t hear the racing footsteps behind me or the voices ordering me to stop or my punishment would be severe.

I kept running, looking around for a place that would offer a safety for me for now. As I turned a corner in hopes of getting away from the guys that are gaining on me, I looked ahead and saw what looked to be a bar that was raging with people and music. Just before I hit the gate surrounding the bar, I was grabbed from behind. A scream tore through my throat, as I dragged into an alley way. One of the guys had grabbed me. I thrashed around until he loosened his grip a bit. I took that opportunity to kick him where the sun doesn’t shine and continued to run to the bar.

Before I ran to the bar I turned around saw that the guys had stopped and one was talking on the phone. I didn’t to my attention to surroundings as I turned back around and ended up running into what felt like a wall but was in fact a man. He had his arms around me as to steady me in case I fell.

I looked up at his face and he had a look of concern etched on his face. He was saying something to me but I couldn’t understand as my adrenaline was wearing off me pretty quickly and all I could see were the black dots that clouded my vision.

His face being having a worried look transform on it was the last thing I saw before the darkness took over me like a blanket as I lost consciousness.

(Hawkeye P.O.V.)

After the terrible day I’ve had; the club whores, drinking, alcohol and the bass from the music was just giving me a headache that I very well did not need.

So I walked outside to get some fresh air, when I heard scream that seemed to resonate around the area. I looked in every direction to find out who screamed.

Just as I was about to give up I heard footsteps thumping on the ground like someone was running. I turned my attention to the direction the footsteps were coming from and saw a woman running towards me. She turned her head to see something behind her but not realising how close she was to me she ended up crashing into me when she turned her head back around.

I kept us steady as I attached my hands to her waist to keep her upright. She looked up at me dazed.

I was asking her if she was okay, but she didn’t respond to my questions then out of the blue her eyes rolled back into her hand and she collapsed and lost consciousness in my arms.

I picked her up bridal style and carried her into the club house and through the front room which was the bar. Many brothers looked at me as I went but I didn’t pay attention to them, instead I went to the room we used as a medical room. As I had hoped Doc was in the room. I walked in and placed the girl on the bed as Doc looked at me. A question in his eyes ‘What happened’.

“No idea, Doc. I heard a scream and then saw her running in my direction. She crashed into me and the she collapsed onto me.” I took a look at her face now that I could see her features clearly now. But what I saw had infuriated me. Her face was covered in bruises. Her left eye was that bruised it could barely open. She had a spilt lip, a deep cut that still seemed to have blood seeping out and trailing down the side of her face.

“Hey Hawk, can you help me undress her from her jeans and hoodie so I can see if she has sustained any other injuries. It looks as if she has been abused.” Doc started taking her hoodie off as I unbuttoned her jeans and slide them off. I looked up at her body and almost all my vision was consumed by red. Her stomach was covered in the colours blue, black, purple and some yellowish green. She also had scars that ranged between little nicks to what looked to be 30cm knife cuts. Blood was still trickling out of some of the larger and deeper cuts.

Her wrist and ankle were severely bruised like they had been held up by ropes for a long time. Her knee look to be dislocated. Doc turned her body over so that he could see her back. Her back had been whipped so hard and severely that at the moment with the blood seeping out of the marks and the skin torn up it looked disfigured. That was my boiling point. All I saw was red I slammed open the door almost knocking it off its hinges and stormed my way into my Prez’s office where I know he’ll be. I slammed his door open and shut.

“I want to kill whoever did this to her.”
