Prologue

So far so good. I haven’t even so much as brushed up against another person. And now it’s just two minutes until first period and the halls were scattered with only a few students.

What class am I in again?

I looked down at my schedule and scanned the sheet for the room number of period one - math.

Just as I found it I walked into something solid. A wall maybe?

Rubbing my forehead, which took most of the impact, I looked up from my schedule.

My heart sank when I saw that it wasn’t a wall that I ran into after all, and instead a guy. But not just any guy.

Liam Coleman.

The school’s very own bad boy. And the last person I wanted to run into.

Well here goes nothing.

Without hesitation I crashed my lips to his. He was too surprised to kiss back at first, but he quickly recovered and snaked his arms around my waist.

Now I was the one not responding due to shock.

He didn’t push me away?

Just as the kiss was about to deepen, I pulled away from him and sprinted down the now empty hallway.
