“Do I know you?” the boy asked.
“I don’t think so”, I replied, walking off to join my friends at the table in the corner with my latte.
“Wait!” he shouted, chasing after me.
Spinning around to face him, I gave him my best glare.
“Go away, I have no idea who you are”, I snapped.
“And people say you’re nice”, he said under his breath.
Giving him another glare, I stalked off towards my table.
“Ohhh, who’s your new boyfriend?” my best friend, Rosalie Linwood, asked in an amused tone. She loved to tease me about boys because she knew I didn’t have any interest in them. Giving her my ‘are you kidding look’, I sat down and took a sip of my latte.
Laughing, she replied, “He’s cute, are you sure you don’t want him?”
Rolling my eyes at her, I groaned, “You’re unbelievable.”
Standing up, Rosalie approached the boy. When I thought about it, he was pretty cute. His light brown hair was styled in a simple but nice way and his olive green eyes peered at Rosalie intensely as he listened to what she was saying. I watched Rosalie leave him and then all of a sudden he was looking at me. I find myself staring back, unable to stop myself. His eyes were beautiful. I got lost in the beauty of them. What a great b...
“Anabelle, are you listening to me?” “ANABELLEEE!” Rosalie yelled in my face.
“Huh?” I replied in a startled tone. “Sorry I zoned out, what were you saying?”
“I was just saying that he turned me down and didn’t give me his number”, she whined with a frown on her face. “He’s clearly only interested in you”.
“No he isn’t”, I replied with the same frown on my face, “He thought I was someone else”.
“He’s been staring at you the whole time, totally not into you” “Plus, you were staring at him too”, she argued with a smirk. “Oh and his name is Zak”, she added with a wink.
“Whatever, I’m leaving”, I said with an annoyed expression.
“I don’t get why you have all the boys and I don’t. You don’t even want them!” she replied in an exaggerated tone. I laughed at her and got into my grey Mercedes SLR that my parents got for me after I graduated from high school.
I watched as she stood up and grabbing her latte, walked out of the doors with her friend following close behind her. Her long brown hair cascaded down her back and bounced lightly as she walked. She was a walking gem. So precious and beautiful. Suddenly, I heard chuckles. Turning my attention away from her, I looked back at my mates to see them laughing at me.
I frowned at them. “What?”
“Zak captured”, my best mate, Jacob Silvera said seriously.
“I’m not. She just reminds me of someone”, I replied.
My other best friend, Cameron Helgeson, gave me a grim look.
“What?” I groaned.
“Bro, you need to stop thinking about Maddison”, he replied, with the same grim look still plastered on his face.
“I’m not thinking about Maddy. She’s just a girl”.
“A girl that broke your heart”, Jacob added.
Rolling my eyes, I stood up from my seat and eyed the two of them.
“I’ll see you guys tonight at the party”, I said in a tired tone.
“See you bro”, Cameron called out while eyeing Jacob with a worried look.
Rolling my eyes, I exited the cafe and made my way towards my new ice white LaFerrari.
I couldn’t seem to get that girl out of my mind. Who was she? Why did it seem like I knew her?
Everyone says she is one of the kindest girls they’ve ever met but boy does she have a temper.
Anabelle didn’t realise how lucky she was. She was born into an amazing family, had all the boys fighting for her and all the girls wanting to be her. She had a life that every girl out there would dream for, but Anabelle was never interested in boys. She didn’t want a relationship until she found the right guy. She didn’t give herself the chance to find that guy she wants. All the guys wanted to be with her, but she never seemed to want to be with them. I didn’t understand her. She needed to have some fun. Pulling out my phone, I sent her a text.
'Wanna go to a party tonight? Jacob's place.'
'Yeh, the hot guy that all the girls go crazy for.'
'Oh him. sure'
'Cool, be at my place at 7'
'K, cya then'
Maybe there she could interact with some guys.
