Prologue

Abigail started working as a maid in the Williams mansion five months ago in order to earn money to pay for her mum’s surgery, whom was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Unintentionally, She developed feelings for Liam Williams. The only son and heir to the Williams property.

Liam was also attracted to her but they both decided to ignore the tangling sensations and sparks that flew between them.

One night, that was when it happened. They unleashed their burning desire. They broke the rule. They had sex and Words couldn’t describe how amazing it felt for both of them.

The next morning, Abigail woke up and instead of opening her eyes to see Liam beside her, she saw a letter.

The letter was folded with the name Abigail on it.

A smile found its way to her face as soon as she saw it. She knew it was from Liam. He had a unique cursive writing. One she could recognise anywhere.

She Giggled as she picked up the letter, It was folded so she opened it to see what was written in it.

The smile she had on her face disappeared as tears welled in her eyes.

According to the letter, Liam told her what they had last night was a mistake that should never have happened so she should forget about it.

As soon as she finished reading the letter, she crumbled it and threw it across her room after which she buried her face in her pillow and cried.

Seconds became minutes and days became weeks. Abigail made several attempt to talk to Liam but he always ignored her and treated her as if she never existed. Until he left for his masters without saying goodbye.

Few weeks later, Abigail had series of morning sickness which Rubi noticed.

Rubi Williams is the Woman of the house. The mother of Liam and Anna Williams and Wife to Robert Williams.

Rubi is a loving and caring woman and at the same time she’s very disciplined.

She is a type of person that calls a spade, a spade, a 48 year old who treats everyone with respect.

As soon as she noticed her youngest staff was sick, She gave her a day off to go to the hospital and also some money incase she needed to buy medications.

Abigail thanked her, Collected the money and found her way to the hospital. The doctor ran some test on her asked her series of question which made her wonder if she came over for an interview.

The test result was ready few minutes later and the doctor revealed she was pregnant.

That was when everything came crashing down for her.

She burst into tears as she thought of how she was going to cope raising a child on her own.

She could not believe how her life had turned upside down within a few months.

How will she face the Williams and tell them she is pregnant with Liam’s child?

Will they believe her?

What if they think of her as a slut who Is only interested in their money.

Abigail felt She couldn’t do that to them. she couldn’t betray their trust in her. She was the foolish one. If she had not slept with Liam she would not have gotten pregnant.

Abigail cried and cried until her eyes got swollen. She feared for her life, for the life of her unborn child, She feared what the future holds for them.

After weighing the pros and Cons, She decided to quit working for the Williams and never look back.

Hopefully the Williams will never find out she left with their heir.
