He was watching her. His beloved mate was sleeping in their bed, her chest rising and falling peacefully, unaware of the lethal predator following her every breath. Unaware of the dark possessive thoughts plaguing her husband’s mind.
He knew what he had done to her was wrong. Unforgivable even. The last remnant of his humanity side was constantly blaming him for it. However, the monster inside of him could not care less. Instincts could not be denied. The end result had been accomplished, collateral damage be damned. Margo had finally become his wife a few hours ago. She was now his even in the eyes of the petty human law. Not that anything could stop him from claiming her either way.
