She was now his even in the eyes of the petty human law. Not that anything could stop him from claiming her either way. But it was comforting for his raging beast to officially stake claim on his mate.

She had become everything for him, his only shining bright light in a world of eternal darkness. His beacon of hope. Excruciating hell would rain upon anything or anyone who dared to harm her. Not even death itself would wrench her out of his embrace. Of that he would make sure, even if she came to despise him afterwards...
