Chloe's aka Lily's POV,
"Come on Lily, you can do it!" Cooper shouted.
"Please Cooper, please do it for me." I said. I just couldn't push anymore. I had been in labor for almost sixteen hours. This was hell.
"Come on sweetheart, just one more push." He said.
"Okay, one more, but that's it." I said and I sat up and gave it everything I had. With in a few seconds. I heard a baby cry. I fell back onto the bed.
"Congratulations it's a boy." The doctor said. Cooper and I had decided on some names for a boy, His name is Samual Harris, Sam for short. I watched as the doctors cleaned him up and handed him over to me. I don't think I've ever seen Cooper more happy then he was at that moment. I held my baby and he cooed at me. He was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen.I looked over at Cooper who had tears in his eyes.
"Do you want to take him out and show him to your sister?" I asked him. He smiled at me and took Sam in is arms. I couldn't help but smile. I closed my eyes when Cooper left the room. The doctors were still working on me some and I must of fallen asleep. The next thing I knew, I woke up to Cooper sleeping in the chair next to me with Sam in his arms. I just laid there and smiled. I took a deep breath. I loved my life. I started to feel a little sad. Wondering if I had parents out there somewhere that was missing this moment. One thing I had asked my doctors was if there was a way to tell if I had ever had babies before? I was told that they could and that I had never had babies before. That was a relief to me. Because I had started to get worried that I might of had babies out there. Especially in my seventh month of my pregnancy. My baby was moving around so much and I was already in love with him. The thought of other babies out there looking for me started to worry me, but my doctor reassured me.
Two months later...
I was sitting in the nursery breast feeding Sam when Cooper walked in.
"Hey sweetheart, I need to run to town today. Do you want to go?" He asked me. I looked up at him.
"Should we take Sam?" I asked.
"We can if you want to, but Debbie is here and she can watch him. Maybe give you a little break?" He said, It sounded good and I was ready to get out of this house.
"Let me finish feeding him and we can go." I said. Cooper nodded at me and walked out. I finished feeding Sam and I laid him in his crib. I went out and found Debbie. I let her know Sam was sleeping and told her about the breast milk in the freezer. Our trips to town always took a couple of hours. After I felt comfortable enough to leave and Cooper kept reassuring me that things were going to be just fine. We got in the truck and headed towards town.
"So are you ready to make our next baby?" Cooper said.I looked over at him.
"Are you out of your damn mind?" I said. He started laughing. "This is not funny Coop, I swear to god if you come near me. I'll cut it off." I said as I crossed my arms and scooted away from him. He just started to laugh louder. "Your not serious are you?" I asked him. He rubbed his eyes.
"Well yes and no. I mean I was only playing about right now, but I'd love to have more children with you." He said. I just rolled my eyes at him. I don't think I've had more then four hours of sleep since I left the hospital and he is telling jokes. He placed his hand on my leg. "I love you Lily." He said. I stuck my tongue out at him and he smiled. We pulled into town and parked on the side of the road. We had food and supplies we had to pick up. Not to mentioned diapers. I decided to come because I needed to pick somethings up for Sam as well and I wanted to pick them out myself. Cooper always did all the shopping because I never really came to town with him. I've been doing so well around strangers that I was able to shop alone.Cooper left me alone in the shop while he went across the street to pick up a part for his truck. He kissed me in front of the store and I watched him while he went across the street to a automotive garage. Something about the garage grabbed my attention. I felt stuck in my spot while i stared at the shop sign.
It felt so familiar in a very strange way. That's when I saw him. A very good looking dark haired man came out of the garage and met Cooper. My heart started to race and I didn't know why. Fear went though out my body. I watched this man smile and laugh with Cooper. He turned slightly and I saw his big green eyes. I took a deep breath. That's when I knew it. I knew who he was. It was my Hunter. Memory's started to flood all thought out me and I fell to the ground.
I turned just in time to see Lily fall to the ground. I took off running towards her, Hunter followed me. "Lily." I hollered as I got to her side. Hunter stopped and just stared. It looked like the color drained from his entire body. I held onto Lily's head and asked him if he was okay? Lily opened her eyes and looked up at Hunter.
"Hunter?" She said and passed back out. Someone had called an ambulance and I could hear the sirens. I turned and looked back at Hunter. He didn't look good.
"How dose she know you?" I said to him. He took one look at me and passed out. "Fuck!" I hollered.
I run over to the other side of the road with Cooper and looked to the ground at the woman laying there. My heart stopped beating. I didn't think what I was seeing was real. All time and space around me stopped. As I looked at this beautiful creature laying on the ground. I knew Cooper was talking to me, but I couldn't hear him. Then she opened her beautiful eyes and looked right at me. She then said my name and I got dizzy. I took one look at Cooper and saw blackness. I opened my eyes and looked to the side of me to see her beautiful face looking back at me.
"Chloe, is that you?" I asked. She nodded at me. I realized we were both in an ambulance. I just laid there and watched her. Both of our eyes were glued to each other. Please don't let me wake up. I said to myself. We got to the hospital and they split us up. I turned and saw Cooper run into the room they took Chloe in. I started to get up and go into that room as well, but the doctors stopped me and told me I couldn't go in. I started to panic. That's when Cooper came out of the room.
'hey man what the hell is going on?" I hollered at him. He walked over to me.
"Do you know her?" He asked me.
"Yes, that's Chloe Banderfield. She has been missing for over two years." I said. Cooper took a deep breath.
"Come on man we need to talk." Cooper said.
"I'm not going anywhere till I talk with Chloe." I said.
"Please give me a chance to explain everything. She is going to have a hard time explaining." He said. "I promise you'll get to talk with her. Just give me ten minutes." He said. I looked back at her door then back to Cooper. I nodded and followed him to the cafeteria. He got us both some coffee and came and sat down. "Where have you been?" Cooper asked me.
"What do you mean?" I said.
"Who are you to her?" He asked.
"My name is Hunter White and I've known Chloe since elementary school. Her full name is Chloe Banderfield. She was born and raised here. Her mother lives at the end of town and her father passed away right before she went missing." I told him. Cooper closed his eyes.
"Where do I begin?" Cooper said, rubbing his head. "I was headed home the morning it all happened. I saw a car run her off the road in a horrible accident. I never saw the driver. I was able to get her out of the car before it exploded. She was in the hospital for many months. Hunter let me explain something to you about Chloe." Cooper went into great detail about everything that has happened over the last two years. Things just didn't add up to me. We couldn't get any information about any accidents and there were no Jane Dow's posted. "There's more to the story, but I feel that's for her to explain to you."He said. I took a deep breath.
"I need to see her." I said. Cooper nodded at me and we stood up and headed back to her room. We stopped at her door.
"Give me just a moment to let her know your coming in, please." He said. I nodded at him.
Cooper came in the room. I looked over at him with tear stained eyes. I couldn't stop crying.
"I remember everything Cooper. Everything." I said as he walked in. His face looked pained and tired. He walked over to me and put his arms out to me. Like he was worried I wouldn't go to him. I threw myself into his arms and held on.
"So your real name is Chloe? Its a beautiful name sweetheart." He said.
"Yes, I'm Chloe Banderfield." I said.
"Sweetheart, Hunter is outside and he wants to see you. Can he come in?" He asked me. I felt him take a deep breath. I sat back in the bed. "He told me he is a good friend of yours."Cooper said. I nodded at him. "We talked and I told him everything, well everything except about us." Cooper said. "I thought that was best for you to tell him." He said. I agreed with him.
"Please send him in and call Debbie and check on Sam."I asked him.
"Sure thing love." He said before he left the room. I took a deep breath and waited for Hunter to come in. I heard the door open and there he was. Looking so handsome as the last time I saw him.
"Hello stranger." I said, as he moved himself over to the side of the bed. I couldn't help it as the tears started to fall down my face.
"Oh baby, please don't cry." He said, wrapping his arms around me. I geld onto him tightly and didn't let go. "I'm so sorry Chloe. I'm so sorry I didn't find you." He cried. I held on to him and told him it was okay. How could they of known? "Has Cooper been good to you?" Hunter asked me. I took a deep breath and asked him to have a seat.
"I eed for you to understand what I've been though. I developed horrible anxiety and fears. One of my biggest fear was of strangers. All of my memory's were gone. It was my choice not to seek out family. I was scared of you all. Cooper and the doctors were the only ones I would allow around me. Until the moment I saw you. I didn't know anything. Cooper named me Lily Harris. Hunter, he is my husband and I've got a son with him." Hunter eyes went wide.
"You have a baby?" He asked me.
"Yes, he is two months old." I said. I could tell Hunter was having a hard time with all of this.
"I need to call your mother." He said.
"Hunter, is she okay?" I asked.
"Yes, she is doing good." He said.
"You've been taking care of her haven't you?" I asked him.
"Of course." He said and smiled. Cooper came walking back into the room. he walked over to the side of the bed. Hunter took a deep breath. "Thank you Cooper. for taking care of her." Hunter said. "I'm going to go call your mother." He said and left the room quickly. I took a deep breath.
"He is more then just your friend, isn't he?" Cooper asked me.
