"Oh, you bloody fucking arsehole, what the fuck do you think you are doing?" The words had already escaped my mouth as I stared down at my spilt cup of coffee.
A sharp sting ran through my hand, pain shooting up my fingers at the impact and I was very much tempted to just loosen my grip and let the Styrofoam cup fall onto the marble floor beneath me.
A large hand quickly snatched it from me and I looked up to see a handsome face staring back at me. "You should watch where you are going," He muttered out and I let out an exasperated gasp.
Watch where I am going? Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!
My mouth remained wide open as I looked up at him, my neck bending at an odd angle as I stared up at the tall man, realizing I was more than a foot shorter than him. Messy, curly black hair sat at the top of his head, his forest green eyes holding me a victim and his beautiful lips started moving as I admired the gruff stubble on him. Tattoos ran down his neck and peeked from under the dark coat he had on his big, tall body. I realised that I had spilt some of the coffee on him as I peered at the wet stain that sat on his clothing.
"Uh-sorry," I reached forward to clean it somehow with my hand but he stepped back from me. I let my hand drop back down and my eyes couldn't help but trail down his body, capturing his form as they finally set on his black boots, only to trail back to his angelic face.
My eyes again captured something metallic glinting at me and I finally found the small nose ring on his arched nose, my gaze setting on his beautiful set of pink lips. My vajayjay suddenly got very excited downstairs and I bit my lip. You are wet! What an achievement! My pussy screamed at me and I sighed in response, shut up, you have never even had a dick inside of you, you stupid cunt!
I knew I was staring and the sensible woman inside my head tried to remind me of that, telling me to shut my mouth before I caught a fly in it. The handsome brute frowned down at me, his eyes rolling as he snapped his two fingers in front of my face and I stool dazzled. Never in my life had I come across a person so beautiful, my mouth watered just at the sight of him.
"Huh?" I muttered out as I came back to reality, kicking into motion like an old vespa as I let my mouth fall close, dragging my eyes away from his figure.
He handed the cup to my other hand and I quickly latched onto it in response, noticing it was half empty now. As soon as I looked up, he walked behind me, going to the counter and the familiar face of my bestfriend came before me.
"Julie, what the hell? How can you be so clumsy?" Joaquin muttered under his breath, producing a tissue paper out of the paper bag full of the junk food in his hand.
"Gee, thanks..." I hummed out as he cleaned my hand and inspected the red skin, letting out a deep laugh. "I leave you for a second, babe and you somehow manage to burn yourself, little girl..."
I rolled my eyes at him as I pulled my hand away from his, "Oh, Dad! So sorry for that..." I mocked out, slightly annoyed at the man I bumped into earlier as we both stepped out of the coffee shop,"But seriously though, why do you have to act like my father? One Ryan Steele is enough, Joaquin..."
"That reminds me, your dad has been calling me non-stop-" As if on cue, his phone started ringing, the familiar ringtone he had set for my dad making me jump as we walked down the busy footpath, capturing the attention of a few passerbys.
"Let your man know that Mr.Steal Your Girl is back..." I rolled my eyes at the absurdity of his ringtone but Joaquin Wallace, my best friend since kindergarten thought that it was absolutely genius on his part.
"Hey Mr.Steele! What's up?" I rolled my eyes at their antics. I heard my father say something from the other side and Joaquin smiled at me, waggling his eyebrows.
"Ah, you are right, Mr.S, I am your favourite kid-" I grabbed the phone from his hand, putting it to my ear,"-taking care of Julie, I trust you, son-"
"Hey dad... Can you just stop being so over protective? Nothing is going to happen to your little girl, alright? Besides, if anyone needs to be taken care of it's Wallace over here..." He playfully hit the back of my head in response.
"I know you can take care of yourself, Julie but you have to give your old man some relief," He argued and I let my cup closer to my lips, taking a sip of what was left of the coffee.
"Besides, it's your first day today at that new company, I just wanted to wish my little girl good luck."
"Thank you, dad," I sang out as Wallace grabbed my cup of coffee, taking a sip and I growled at him when he downed it in one go. "Quin!" I protested and he shrugged at me.
"Julie, remember, no boys."
"Dad, seriously? I am twenty-five! I'm getting old over here and you are telling me not to date in my mid twenties..." I rolled my eyes at him, annoyed by the fact that my father was himself a player or at least, used to be one when he was a highly reputed model and warned me about men like him on a daily basis. Oh, the hypocrisy...
"I don't want you to get heartbroken, you know. All men are pigs," He started and I cut him off,"Please don't start with this again."
"Fine, give me a call after work. By the way, why don't you ever pick up your phone?"
"It was on silent..."
"Hm, okay...Sweetie, also, Lauren wants you to come over-"
"Bye, dad! Love you!" I ended the call, not wanting to hear about what all his present girlfriend wanted me to do. My father's taste in women was horrible and somehow he always ended up getting all the gold diggers in the ten mile radius.
Lauren was just seven, seven years older than me and I felt bile rise up my throat at just the thought. How could she want to be with someone so much older? Her annoying voice suddenly started ringing in my head and I cleared my thoughts, not wanting to think about how she used her body to get out of anything and what all she could be doing with my dad just to be with him.
I handed Joaquin the phone and he threw the cup in his hand in a nearby trash can. I sighed as we continued walking till we arrived right in front of the huge building, standing over us and staring down at us dauntingly. I craned my neck up, look at its length and shivered. Safe to say, I had a slight fear of heights...and the corporate world. Ironically, I had willingly got my bachelor's degree in business.
"Here we are, Ms. Steele. Ready for your first day at Harding Co.?"
"I am scared," I smacked my lips together. I had not even been this scared during the interview that Mr. Jonathan Harding had shockingly taken himself. I had put on my best charming face and had answered questions smartly enough to impress the old man and he had luckily offered me a position as a head business data analyst and I had been ecstatic.
"You'll be fine...but you will be late if you don't start moving that butt so chop, chop! Get those legs walking!" Wallace jokingly muttered and I took a deep breath, smiling at him and waving him goodbye before entering the building.
"Miss. Steele, how lovely to see you again. Please sit down...," The ageing man said with a smile once I entered his office, greeting him. I could tell that he had been extremely handsome when he was young and was ageing like fine wine.
"I believe Amanda has given you all the instructions and shown you around the floor?" He asked as he sat down in his chair and I followed him, sitting down across from him.
"Yes, Mr. Harding," I nodded at him, straightening my back and folding my hands in front of me. "Miss. Steele, you have an excellent resume and great work experience but what I hired you for, is that smart mouth of yours and I hope you don't disappoint us."
"I'll do my best, sir."
"Although I was the CEO when I hired you but I am obliged to let you know that I am no longer responsible for this company. I am handing it over to my sons, I am sure you have heard of them." I nodded my head, the Harding triplets, of course. I had researched a whole lot when I had come for the interview.
I distinctly remembered skipping over their photos that had popped up on the browser, deeming them unnecessary and instead searching for only their credentials, finding nothing out of the ordinary. Only one of them, the eldest one if I remembered correctly had went to business school.
"You will be working under my sons from now on, Miss. Steele. I am not going to lie, they are sometimes a little hard handle..." He let out a little chuckle,"But, I am sure you'll be fine once you get used to them."
I swallowed back and nodded my head and Mr.Harding again chuckled,"Don't be afraid, Miss. Steele, you'll love them."
I was taken aback by his laid back attitude. He seemed relaxed for a man at such a high position. Well, not anymore. Maybe he was relaxed now that the company's weight was off his shoulders. The last time I had come here, he had been definitely less smiles and sunshines and more business talk.
"Of course, sir."
"I really would love to introduce you to them, they are on their way here. They will come any second now."
As if on cue, the door suddenly opened and I resisted the urge to instantly turn around and look at the men. Mr. Harding stood up and I politely followed, turning on my heel to face the two men and my jaw slightly dropped at the sight I took in.
They both looked very similar to the man I had run into just this morning...and I was pretty sure I had drool running down the side of my face as I took in their forms. Both of them stood in suits that perfectly fit them and didn't fail to hide the muscles they had underneath their clothes. I took a deep breath as my eyes met a pair of sea green eyes, glinting at me across the room.
A smirk formed on the brute's face as he held my gaze and I broke it to look at the black messy hair on top of his head, mu similar to the man's I had met in the morning. I let my gaze drop from him only for my eyes to find the next pair of blue-grey eyes, only to let out a little gasp when the man suddenly winked at me.
I dropped my gaze instantly as Mr. Harding cleared his throat,"Where is your brother?"
"He is just coming," Sea green eyes muttered, dragging his eyes away from my face to meet his father's. His husky, deep voice instantly sent a wave of pleasure through my body and I felt myself suddenly get aroused.
What is wrong with you, Julie! Get your shit together, girl.
I felt my nipples poke through my cotton blouse and blushed profusely as I clenched my legs together, my eyes meeting blue-grey who smirked at me, knowing all too well what was happening to my body.
"Apparently, some blonde bimbo poured her coffee all over him and he had to head home to change his three thousand dollar coat. Let's just say, she rning."
"Devin being dramatic, as always, huh?" Jonathan laughed under his breath, moving to sea green eyes to pat him on the shoulder.
"Darius...meet Ms. Julie Steele." I awkwardly walked closer to them, pasting a smile on my face. As I looked between the two of the siblings, I somehow managed to stumble in my heels, ready to trip on the floor but a pair of hands caught me, straightening me.
I flushed in embarrassment, awkwardly laughing as I looked at blue-grey eyes who looked down at me with a frown on his face. "Don't fall on that beautiful face, Miss. Steele..."
"And this is Daxton," Daxton smiled down at me and let go off my body. I let my hands run down my sides, straightening out any creases on my clothing as I inspected Daxton's hand that he had let out for a handshake.
"Sorry about that..." I moved my hair behind my ear, letting my hand slip into his,"Julie Steele."
A spark ran through my body as his large hand engulfed mine, gently shaking it only to grasp it tightly and bring my knuckles up to his lips, kissing them gently, making me catch my breath,"It's a pleasure to meet you, love..."
I smiled at him and suddenly my other hand was grabbed from my side and brought up to Darius' lips, "We just met Julie and you are already falling for us..." His lip piercing suddenly brushed against my skin, sending a delicious shiver through my body.
"Boys, don't trouble her, your charm isn't going to work on this lovely, young lady," He laughed and both the men simultaneously let go off my cold hands, leaving them shaking and falling to my sides. The two siblings let out a laugh, their chests rumbling and I had never heard a sound so beautiful in my life before.
I smiled, putting on a brave face and folding my hands in front of my chest to keep them from shaking. Daxton seemed to notice my trouble and again winked at me and I dropped my gaze to the very interesting floor pattern as the glass door again opened and the man from this morning walked in, now dressed in a black suit.
He stopped in his tracks, looking at me and letting a deep frown set on his handsome face as his gaze burned me to the ground, holding me victim. I felt vulnerable under the triplet's eyes and I awkwardly looked away from him.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" The man, who I assumed was Devin asked as he started walking towards me.
"I-uh-I-uhm-," I tried racking my brain to remember how to speak but only incoherent words spilled out of my mouth as he came closer to me, a glare set on his rock hard face.
"Devin, meet Julie Steele, our new business data analyst and keep that potty mouth shut, boy," Jonathan again decided to speak up, cutting my stuttering off.
Boy? Boys? These were three huge, grown ass men blessed with devilish looks!
"Well, I need to go to the mansion to meet your mother. We both are going to pack our bags and leave for Virginia to meet your pop. He is on my ass to see him one last time before he dies," Mr. Harding told the men as he reached over to his desk to grab his phone that was lying there,"Take care of the company, boys and...Miss. Steele, would you keep them in check while I am gone?"
I politely nodded at him, knowing he was only joking. The boys saw him off at the door and I started following Jonathan out but before I could, Darius managed to shut the door behind his father.
A hand stopped me from moving and I looked behind me to see that Daxton had grabbed onto my arm, holding me still while I looked at all three of them with wide eyes. Devin suddenly came in front of me, a frown still set on his face as he looked down at me, caging me between him and Daxton.
"You ruined my coat, my three thousand four hundred sixty nine dollar coat," He simply said and my mouth fell wide open.
"I-it was b-black," I argued back, not understanding why it was such a big deal. "You probably can't even see it."
"You are going to have to pay for that..." He suddenly said and I felt Darius' presence near my side, slowly realizing that the brothers had me trapped in a little circle, making it hard for me to think-or even breathe.
"No! You are the one who bumped into me and practically burnt my hand off...," I raised my hand up in front of me, exaggerating and showing him the damage he had caused. I gasped out when he grabbed it and brought it up to his face, letting his lips fall on the sensitive skin.
"Maybe I can kiss it better, Julie, no?"
Suddenly all of their hands fell on my body, Devin's leaving my hand to grab hold of my waist, Daxton's hands fell on my behind, squeezing it in his palms and Darius managed to grab hold of my chin, making my head turn towards him.
"Julie, darling, we are going to-" Darius started, his lips brushing against mine and I started feeling lightheaded with all of them in such close proximity to me. Three men, who reeked of masculinity and power continued to loom over my tiny, little form, taking me in and I couldn't even listen to what he had to say as I blacked out, falling in a heap into their arms...
