Chapter 52

Ivy’s POV:

It was time for me to throw my flowers and I do and Kate catches it.

“I am getting married next!” she exclaims as she jumps around.

Zach and I go change for our reception and come out.

I was in a red gown and he was wearing a bow which matched my dress.

We cut the cake and have our first dance.

After all the Maids of honours and Best men gave their speeches, it was time for me to make an announcement.

I hit my glass lightly with a spoon, grabbing everyone’s attention.

“Attention everyone. I would like to thank everyone who took time out of their busy schedule to come to our wedding. Thank you,” I say.

“I have a special gift for you Zach but it will arrive late,” I say.

“How long will it take? He asked surprised. Everyone was interested too.

“I’m on my 2nd month so probably 6 or 7 months,” I say smiling.

He understood and came and hugged and kisses me.

Then he announced,

“Everyone I am going to be a father.” He was excited and everyone congratulated us.

“You are my lucky charm Mrs Ryder,” he says as we sit down.

“You’re not so bad yourself Mr Ryder,” I reply.

“I love you so fucking much,” he says holding my hand.

“Love you infinity,” I say kissing his hand.

We had ou first dance and I saw Cody and Kate dancing together.

I could see that they were in love with each other. I show Zach this and he just smiles at me.

“$100 that they will get married in a year,” I say looking at Zach.

“$100 that she will get pregnant in like a year and then get married to Cody,” he says.

“Deal,” we say together and continue dancing.

1 year later:

I won the bet. Kate and Cody were getting married and I am standing there as her bridesmaid. They say, “I do” and kiss.

Mine and Zach’s daughter was 1 year and 6 months old. She was called Elle Ryder. She was our whole world. She had my hair and lips and Zach’s eyes and most of the other things.

Noah and Scarlett had a son called Jake Kavinsky. He was adorable too.

My life was completed. I got so much more than I expected and hoped for. I still remember all the times in the past where I thought that I will end up alone but I had everyone around me who loved me.

This story was supposed to be about Noah and me, that’s why it is called, “A Familiar stranger” but it ended with me meeting Zach and falling in love with him. Things happen but that doesn’t mean that you give up on life. You learn to live past them. No one can stop you from getting the love that you deserve.
